I think most of us have a certain amount of anxiety about noise particularly when it’s thoughtless behavior by people with no regard for anyone else! I hope you picked up your dropped stitch OK as those socks are really pretty! Take care x

Love the earrings, you really suit them so it’s a pity they don’t agree with you. Like you I don’t like summer, the heat, the noise, the brightness but am trying to manage it better. I’m working on a “summer” cross stitch and really enjoying it so I’m not feeling quite so negative. Take care Ali. Xx

I bought a pair of earrings, yellow fish, recently at a farmers’ market because I thought they’d make lovely stitch markers. They can do double duty as earrings if needed😂

Yes Ali noise anxiety is a real thing, not only outside noise but I find people talking , TV on, radio, appliances, just too much everyday noises but seem to be all at the same time makes me very anxious and overwhelmed, but does not seem to effect other people🤔 which I find confusing 🫤 I really wish it didn’t effect me. I am here knitting socks while watching you knit socks! 😆 fab lobster earrings🦞 Love & Hugs Suze. 💓💗🤗 xxx

I was knitting on my socks during the Hot Air Balloon scene from Bridgerton. I was on the last row of my heel and almost pulled my needle out. I pulled off about 8 stitches and in the process of picking them up, I dropped two. I was able to pick them up, but it looks awful. But, it is my heel and no one will really see it. Thanks, Bridgerton!

So pleased you mentioned noise anxiety I have difficulty too loud restaurants are the worse have difficulty choosing the menu and then feel I can’t swallow . Thank you for sharing your crafty week. 😊

I'm so with you on noise anxiety, I can't bear it. I'm in a terrace and the house next door is rented so whenever someone moves out I have weeks of worrying that someone noisy will move in. So far no one has been noisy but I'm still stressed about it! Love the little lobster earrings shimmy. ❤

I know you've mentioned that you read the Clan of the Cave Bear but I'm not sure if you finished it? The audible book is incredible. It's my favorite book of all time but I hadn't read it in years. I recently bought the audible book and had very low expectations, and truthfully it took a minute to get used to the narrator. I'm now on the 3rd book and I love her! I could easily finish them all and restart the series. I highly recommend giving it a go on audible.

My ears also bother me when I wear jewelry until I found if I put neosporin or any type of antibacterial gel on the earring post and backing and coat it lightly before putting them in I can wear my earrings for a full 8 hrs! :)

Same thing happens to me when I try to wear earrings now. I’ve give up. But need to remember to wear a necklace or bracelet! I am enjoying the new Dr and his sidekick!

Lobster earrings look very nice I’m like you I had pneumonia long long time ago & iV I was given made my earrings & rings react I can wear a ring for short periods of time but cannot wear earring at all hey ho not the worst thing to happen Well done on 6 mile walk 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Cute lobsters - got me wondering if you have been following Leon the Lobster on KZbin. He's a rescue lobster living his best life in safety. I love the channel - it also features a three-legged black cat & other rescues and I enjoy the voice of the host. I even bought a hooded sweatshirt to support his channel and all the critters! Good for you getting to both projects, too bad about the dropped stitch and all that though! I'm sure it will be all better tomorrow. Thanks for doing these dailies, Ali!

The lobster earings are so cute! I cross stitched years ago then went off it for a while. But I picked it up again some time ago and I'm enjoying it again. Currently cross stitching a fun peacock to brighten up my hallway😄Also knitting a baby blanket for my new grandson due at the end of the month! Have to ask Ali have you picked up your post recently?
