Love this! As a voice teacher myself, I am always looking for good online resources, especially in this era of online teaching. My own KZbin videos (Voice Lessons by Leeson) work well for my own singing and for most of my students, but sometimes I need a fresh perspective, different vocalises, or something tailored to a specific student’s development. Love your pacing, simple and clear instruction, and the beat helps, too! Can’t wait to explore more of your videos.

I love your exercises and I have no idea if I will ever develop a strong singing voice but what I do know is that when I get rich I will definitely be sending you money on paypal. Right now a boxer cross doggie has had all my finances for the summer and so happy I have pet insurance but it takes time for company to reimburse me and I have a boyfriend that needs to be paid back and other stuff. So for now, my thought is there. Thank you for all these exercises you have been given for free!

Just as good as Jeff Rolka because you must be active and it's not most of the time talking and explaining as so many voice teachers seem to like to do. It's a little different than Jeff and so well complementary I think. Jeff works very soft but perhaps here on this channel the head voice gains strength a little faster. I must practice more to know for sure ;-)

Thank you I've been using your videos for years now. Started off with baritone videos but recently I found out I was actually a tenor. My trainer talked to me about my voice type, and Im apparently a leggiero. My passagios are E#4 and A4 but ive been ignoring that part of my voice concentrating on my chest notes which made transitioning even harder for me, I've always had a very light almost feminine timbre,with easy and fast runs and vibrato, so I always wondered in the back of my head if I was truly a baritone(I guess I kept lying to myself due to the low C2s I could push in occasionally) . I'm now just practicing with this video on the third day and I could hit an A#5 in head voice yesterday which I've never done before. Thanks again, your videos are changing journeys!
@muslimmetalman2 жыл бұрын
my passaggio is D#4 and then G4 (G# when im warmed up). Nice to meet another high tenor with an extended lower range. Not a lot of guys doing that! I also have squeaked out A#5. Looking to mix, especially that high, on the regular!
@kreole73762 жыл бұрын
@@muslimmetalman that's great! Daily practice is definitely the key to strengthening the mixed voice. I still do vocal exercises everyday.
@muslimmetalman2 жыл бұрын
@@kreole7376 how did you get down to those C2's? everyone says they use chest fry but i've never really gotten that technique. I kind of just add growl to normal chest voice
@kreole73762 жыл бұрын
@@muslimmetalman I have no idea man I've just always been able to do it. I like to warm up in the morning since that's when your voice is at your lowest. Ofcourse its not as strong as a basses and I do incorporate some vocal fry which can extend down to a G1 on a good day. There are some low notes videos in this channel for low note exercises.

Hi... is baritone the quality of the voice or range or both in regards to pop singing as opposed to classical singing? Thanks very much.
@alaandre0044 жыл бұрын
Range and quality. The label is only really meaningful in opera. The vocal chords of a baritone are a bit thicker than that of a tenor but they can still sing the same notes.

Can I belt on the NYA exercise? Would I be doing it correctly if I was belting without bad strain?
@YoppyVU3 жыл бұрын
No, because this is an exercise for mixed/middle register. Belting comes from the chest voice, so you should be doing all of these exercises with a resonance higher on your body. I hope I explained it well!

Is it normal to have a ton of voice cracks doing these exercises?
@ninjaclaw1able4 жыл бұрын
Yes keep going that’s just ur voice getting used to that transition and the more u do it the more that crack will disappear

Is it normal to crack(break) at the soft workout?. The yahh, ohh....I can move upward without breaking but I break when trying to connect head to chest....is it normal to have does weird break and crack (especially when scaling down)
@Mtb-TrailTime Жыл бұрын
The more you practice the transition from chest to mix to head voice it will eventually connect without breaking. The break will smooth out eventually.
