I'm 99% certain you're not human. The way you weave through traffic is extremely mesmerising and hypnotic. I cannot believe some of the things that you're doing. The one thing that really boggles my mind is the way you can predict where the mirrors are on your bike and the cars. You simply just glide right past them and gracefully avoid them. Unlike, myself, who has folding mirrors which end up getting folded many a time I connect with cars :/ But all in all RJ, you are the filter king and this was the most interesting video I have watched and it is simply you doing your thing; which is the best ^_^

years of practice, good hazard perception. my father who used to be in the police always said look further ahead as far as you can see and always pay good attention to where the other cars wheels are i myself have not got as good as royal but there is less traffic in my town and still not fell off ;)

I think the trick is to not think about them and let your sub concious take care of it. When you're on the bike it needs to become your body and in the same way you don't stop to think whether or not your arms will make it through the doorway you wont need to think about the mirrors. Sometimes I'll be going along then suddenly become aware of the bikes size and think "how the fuck am I not hitting these mirrors, it's like they're going straight through". Not thinking about it is the best way.

Matt Dorsey Yeah, the inner city is bad. A lot of the streets are still the same width they were a few hundred years ago when it was all horse drawn cart and what not. With old and well known buildings lining the streets, there's no option to demolish to make the roads wider. Even with the charge drivers incur just for the ability to drive in the city, it's the only city in the world that I've been to where you can be stuck in a traffic jam between 1 and 4am in the morning. And we're talking 9am Monday morning style traffic too. You're walking down the street early in the morning drunk on the way home from a night out and you know in your right mind that all sane people are asleep at this point yet even so, you're walking down the street past parked cars in the middle of the road stuck in traffic. It's crazy sh*t. And all in a country where we pay what works out to be $2 per liter for fuel. And there's 3.7 liters of fuel per gallon to just in case you were wondering.

441rider its actually safer to filter than to not. But im not sure you would understand that, the police in london do it, shit everyone on 2 wheels does it in london. And to be honest, less motorcycle related accidents happen in london than say anyplace that doesnt allow filtering. That makes sense to me because i live in a place where filtering is illegal and its scary as hell when your crammed next to a bunch of cars with distracted drivers. Id rather filter anyday because it gets me the chance to get away from the dangerous drivers.

SuperlProlGaming Not stock, he switches between two on the Nuda, an Akropovic titanium and carbon fibre system and I think his other one is a Leo Vince titanium and carbon system. He has Arrow headers with a de-cat and switches between the two slip on mufflers.

Never do this in the United States of America. It is legal in some states but not most. And where it is legal, there are strict limitations on your speed and whatnot. And I'm not trying to be snobby; I say this for your safety. Compared to what I see almost every time I drive, the car drivers in this video are heavenly. The majority of our USA drivers do not signal nor check blind spots when switching lanes; this causes problems for filtering. Your videos are highly entertaining to me. Thank you for them.

The changed the laws here in Australia a while back to no filtering between moving cars and if traffic was stationary you could up to max of 15 kph/10 mph. It sucks but oh well =(

I see you are still the king of macho filtering. As ever, your skill and awareness is fairly good, but if you were more cautious, you would be safer and antagonize drivers much less. Of course, this would mean you have fewer subscribers, many of whom will try to emulate your risky riding style and fail, with serious consequences. I note that you are very quick to admonish (mainly) van drivers when they make mistakes/take risks (as they do). Naturally, we just never get to see the illegal manoeuvres (or mistakes!?) that you make. Also, you often filter far too quickly; you don't plan for pedestrians crossing or doors opening unexpectedly. You only plan for the hazards you can see, and your observation is good, but it will not always be enough.

I was a biker for a while, i sold my bike long ago after a nasty accident. I didnt do this, no ride between the cars, but man you drive crazy good! I miss this life sometimes but i didnt think i can drive a bike again. I almost lost my right arm, i have a 20cm long scar and a couple of titanium plate for a reminder what happened. I also suffered head injuries and got permanent tinnitus what cant be cured. Other than that no damage, so i was lucky. A drunk truck driver hit me. Be safe man, just be safe..

Questionable on whether it was illegal or not. Zig zags at crossings are there to indicate that there is no parking. The zig zags rule is not to overtake the lead moving vehicle at the crossing or the lead vehicle that has stopped to let a pedestrian cross. The vehicles at the zebra crossing were stationary and were not stopped to let a pedestrian cross. There were also vehicles stopped on the crossings, which is itself an offence. I see cars stopped on crossings pretty much every day, forcing pedestrians to either walk around the car (off of the crossing) or stand there waiting for the car to move.

lukethekanefan You've incorrectly turned an actual situation into a hypothetical situation. My point was that there were no pedestrians. The vehicles were stopped due to traffic, not so that a pedestrian could cross. There was no risk to pedestrians. The vehicles stopped on the crossing were more of an issue. RJ could safely pass and be gone in a couple of seconds. The vehicles on the crossing could be stuck there for several minutes. The vehicles would force pedestrians off of the crossing, where the pedestrians are protected by law.

At 10:50 he was quite simply filtering too fast. He would not have been able to avoid that car if it had nosed in a bit further. Yes, he also indulges in needless road rage at people who are merely somewhat close behind him at slow speed (whilst he practically touches vehicles as he filters).

this guy is arrogant as hell in the traffic, he was right too complain in one situation (the taxi that cut him off), i mean he is the one who's not following the rules going through traffic like that so he has no right to complain with the other drivers its not that i dont like bikes because im a biker myself and i do exactly what he does, but those reactions are just stupid, he have to be aware that drivers cant always see him in the middle off the cars, and cant think he's more than the others because he dont have to sit and wait in traffic

Luzitanium noise pollution seriously is that a thing, obviously im being sarcastic. motorbikes hardly to anything to the environment. noise pollution isn't even a word. you mean't noise, well bike's aren't really that loud. i would say scooters are louder they sound like shit.

Luzitanium bikes can filter threw lanes and is alot safer for bikes plus it decreases congestion on the road with the size of the bikes and the ability to filter between lanes, come on its common sense mate

What I think is a person who drives a car is getting so full of things, have to pay to park, have to pay to drive, have to pay to have it, have to pay to keep it, have to pay everything else, and still have to deal with bikers passing through one lane to another with using the sign direction.

I think you're an accident waiting to happen. I'm not against filtering, but riding against the traffic at speed, expecting them to move over, then having a go at traffic doing the same to you?? Squeezing thru gaps and not letting people get close to your backside. You're not a particularly good role model to others, but each to their own.....

@royal, please don't be aggressive. You are not like the rest, super aggressive all the time. People post their videos rev bombing, swearing at other drivers, over speeding, etc as if that's the way to ride a bike. I love your videos because you are the responsible, considerate and friendly bike rider. Something us bikers should aspire to be! Please don't be aggressive! 👍
