I'm so glad you are planning and sharing your Hobonichi journey. I have been using them for 3 years now and I love the paper so much that I just need it in my life! I track work hours/work to-do in a techo A6 and my life in a Weeks. It great to see how your creativity translated to this type of planner where you have so much control. You are definitely sharing some great ideas I hope to try. thanks! Also - pen recommendation. I just got a Uniball ONE F Gel Pen and I love it in my hobonichi. Energel is another fave, but the UNiball seams darker.

Thank you for sharing! I’ve got some layouts for my 2023 cousin thanks to you. I also discovered the EC petite cover works with the cousin so I can add another small journal for extra notes and a sleeve for stickers.

more more more! especially the weekly view! i'm using my dailies for journaling after trying the task list route and it feeling redundant - i've made a few task sections in my weekly view so i never have to flip away and its working pretty well! *throws salt over shoulder, knocks on wood, etc etc* 😄

At the moment I'm switching to pencil for any event that is not appointments or release dates, stuff that might change. I love pencils. But I understand that not everyone likes writing in pencil.

Is the uni jetstream something you’d consider? It doesn’t feel like a ballpoint to me and it dries SO stinking fast. I love using it in my HC. I know you’re a gel girl but just throwing it out there. 😅
