One Crucifixion is recorded-only-
How many be
Is not affirmed of Mathematics-
Or History-
One Calvary-exhibited to Stranger-
As many be
As persons-or Peninsulas-
Gethsemane-
Is but a Province-in the Being's Centre-
Judea-
For Journey-or Crusade's Achieving-
Too near-
Our Lord-indeed-made Compound Witness-
And yet-
There's newer-nearer Crucifixion
Than That-
