Try 9 balls only, but in rotation using the Brainwash rules, I find it to be more realistic movements. Keep changing up the patterns, some are easier than others. How long have you played for?

Not sure if you are aware of the virtual matches. Rubster760, Backyard Billiards, and Heads up Pool have live matches played on your table vs someone remote, this has really helped my game. You could get into one of those.

What size is your pool table? 8 footer?
