Yesterday before I came to this scripture Goid revealed to me the importance of persistence in our lives and our spiritual journey with him. Thank you for providing this aid to the bible.

I'm thankful I found this resource. I believe it's an answer to my prayer of wanting to grow in the Word. I love that you guys have a strong conviction that the Word is transformative. These videos are at the same time simple to follow but can be very deep if we allow the Lord to speak to our hearts. God bless you guys- definitely want to share this with friends and family.

I found Branch Together last year. At the beginning of 2021 I started the New Testament in a year playlist. I love and appreciate all you do so much. I especially loved this video. I was just struck by how much I appreciated you shooting the commentary even though you had to be on the road and then such a personal share that connected to the chapter. Thank you so much. Going through each chapter and getting the commentary at the end has been so good for me. The questions always leave me pondering and digesting for long periods. I am excited to get to John and add in the videos that were recorded last year that go into smaller sections of a chapter. I often long for recording like this for the Old Testament. Has that ever been a consideration? I know you are all on a break and I pray that everyone is well and safe during this time. Thank you so much for all that you have done. Blessings to the physical church in NJ as well.

We certainly have considered the OT. We may get there someday! The OT is MUCH longer than the NT. Hoping to be back soon though ;)

I know I’m a day late but still wanted to comment! Thank you for sharing. I love the explanation and history of the women recognizing that even a “crumb” could heal her. I also have felt offended in the past reading this passage but the nuance of a house dog va a wild dog makes a big difference! And thanks so much Pastor ? (Can speakers post their names?) for your honesty and transparency. It was really encouraging for me.

Jessica Sherwood - Hello!! Im Darren and I was speaking here. I'm sorry my name wasn't included in the video. I recently started including our names in a lower third, but this video didn't make it into the template since I was on the road. Excited to have you in the BT family. Hope your weekend is great.

Hola Darren, I came across your channels with faith. I'm hoping your prayers and Bible insight will help me heal my youngest sister's passing. Caridad went to Heaven November 18. 2017 of Cancer. I was by her side since day one of her diagnosis of liver cancer. I know she is with me in spirit but I mourn her physical body everyday. Thank you for your service, I will continue to tune in for inspiration and healing. God bless you

Izzy So glad to have you in the Branch Together family. I know that God does heal from terrible pain....I lost my wife to cancer many years ago and Good has healed my heart, and brought restoration and healing to my family. Committing to read his word daily is a GREAT start. Feel free to let us know how you are doing in the coming weeks and we can pray with you. God Bless.

Thanks, my challenge is where to begin to read the Bible. I want to read the word of God with faith....need you to direct me to a start off point. My condoles with the passing of your wife, I know the pain as mine is recent.
@BranchTogether7 жыл бұрын
Izzy don't worry about trying to read with faith, just read and God will build your faith. I'd start with one of the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. You can always just read along with us each day. It's particularly good to listen to the video with us then go and read the chapter again 1 or 2 times.

Beautiful. I have chronic med stuff so the end really hit home... well all the way through. I have been doing so much better... as I remain steadfast in Gods word.... but so easily we can start looking at circumstances like Peter did when he was on the water and Martha anxious and distracted..... rather then sitting at the Lords feet 🦶 I’m usually Mary... but the past couple weeks I’m seeing more of the Martha in me... as i have been frustrated sad and whinny about my medical situations... rather then sitting at his feet about it. I have no excuse... I have experienced the power of the smallest touch of Gods hand in my life. The crumbs are enough. I know the power and love of Christ deeply... and how quickly he has relieved my pain... and has taught me and grown me... refined me through each trial and tribulation. I’m always stronger and closer to him on the other side... and more equipped to help others and truly love and have compassion for others. I allowed disappointment instead of rejoicing the last several days. And even so... his goodness reigns. As I spend time in his word he gives me nuggets everyday like right now... that lead me to your video.... just what I needed to hear. And he continues to give me opportunities to share the truth of his love and goodness with ppl. He opens his word to me in new and beautiful ways. I have rest and peace in him and I’m safe and protected under the shadow of his wing. He is faithful♥️thank you again. My mind is renewed. He makes it all good... all our messes. I will pray for you and your wife 💜

I’ve been seeing comments on other christian channels that Jesus only came to save the lost sheep of Israel (Matthew 15:24 and other verses I can’t remember lol) and that we (in America) cannot be saved. Does this mean only Israelites can be saved? Why would people think this? Is it just a miss understanding scripture?
@gailkm97013 жыл бұрын
"Israel was to be the catalyst through which God would accomplish His promises to the world." I took this line from a Google search. I would say it was the starting point for setting things in motion. I'm sure someone could say this much better than me but I hope this is helpful for you. I believe the people of Israel were to be the example to the world if they would have been faithful to the Lord. Just as anyone who is a follower of Christ, should be a light in the world of darkness. I know I fail often but my faith and trust is in the Lord as my Savior.

I dont get it. Do u mean we need to keep begging for physical healing? Why do i need to beg to my father for his help? I try and think it's free will and God wont change/ intervene because of free will but he is there to help comfort my spirit.

I'm not sure if you're a pastor or just a noble Christian KZbinr but it's people like you who don't try to act perfect and act like the word is as easy as pie to follow, people who share their own struggles with living up to the word, it's people like you have highest amount of influence in the Christian world
