Daily Recap January 10th 2025

I fell asleep before Jer last night and Victoria ended up taking over. He rested well and it was definitely freezing today. It was so cold I left the oven open and JJ even went to buy pajamas and small heaters. After a dramatic toothbrush fallout, little mighty Jer was fussy and didn’t want any toys. After lots of cuddles and his treatments he felt better. He declined anything by mouth again today. I don’t ever give up on him though. I washed his hair really well as I saw a little dandruff and I blow dried it fully especially with the cold weather. I’ll braid it tomorrow though. After more cuddles he spent time in his wheelchair standing and even learned how to turn the light on and off. We ride around the house but he refused to guide it, I wonder if it’s because it’s not much space. He enjoyed sneaking in to bother JJ as he was trying to nap. Uncle Deon braced the weather to visit and Jer could not contain himself. I let him pick pajamas but I actually have to wash them first. Jer has sensitive skin and you never know what touched stuff at Walmart or was returned. I’m praying for all those affected by so many tragedies worldwide. I haven’t been on my personal social media much this year because often the news and life is just a little too heavy for my heart. Today we pray that you trust yourself enough to walk a narrow path knowing that God will keep the light on to guide you. May you know that he can make your burdens light if you just trust Him no matter what it may look like.
