After what seems like years, Lilia brings her Inkling friend “Poool” back to Inkopolis after her long absence in public to see and observe how activities are together. Turf Wars and Competitive battles aren’t in session right now here, so what are the Inklings and freed Octolings doing on a daily basis for recess outside of winning competitive matches?
This video features a new character. I've been using the same characters on this channel a lot, because I personally prefer fewer developed characters than too many undeveloped characters, however this animation introduces a new face to the lineup. While her name was not mentioned in the video, she is known as Seraphina (aka Seraph), a mischievous Inkling who specializes in digital mockery. Inspired by punk/rock style hacker girl characters, she may have no traditional weapon of choice, but she's not afraid to look at your internet history or check the photos on your phone to use against you.
Just to clarify, the characters are not actually using real billiard balls (8-ball), according to my research, the characters are playing a game known as "Kemari" (蹴鞠), it's a game in Japan where you simply kick and keep a ball in the air using your feet as a team. If the characters in the animation were using actual oversized billiard balls, uhh.. you may have to install a lot more respawners.

The animation is full with energy and fun, eventhough it seems like everyone is having a rough time X3 Watching it makes you smile and willing to see more of it. To me it also seems like your motion capture looks more clean now, the result is really nice! I personally prefer your old animation style as that is what got me, and so many others into animating too. (But hey that's just me) Seraphina's design looks great too, she really feels like the type of hacker you mentioned in the description. I'm glad to see that you used our SFM Side Order clothing pack too for the boots! Here's also a tip when it comes to storytelling. People may be a bit confused by what is actually going on, like being thrown into the middle of something. The description is all you need to understand it, but that is also the risky part of it. Some people don't read the description and simply watch the video. For storytelling it's important to make the story clear in just the video, and perhaps use the description to support if needed. A simple way to do this is by having the characters talk with each other. One could ask what it all is since they are new, and the other explains it. This is then explained to the character, but in reality to us. Just a simple trick yet really effective. (Having characters talk also makes your world feel more alive)

Wow, that is some impressive work right there, love the whole chaotic environment you built surrounding just 1 character, It's amazing, and very creative too, like a character introduction. XD Nice job with the design of your new character you teased previously, really glad to see you used the Side Order pack from the workshop too!! ^^ Some feedback I'd like to give you too, definitely can tell you've cleaned up the motion capture on your work a lot, which is very good and it is looking much much smoother now!! Yet some of the more extreme movements feel a bit sluggish and weightless, such as the skateboarding and the ones playing 8ball XD Mocap works really well for the background characters, not so much on foreground characters. Another thing too is that you used voices in the second half of the video, which shows a lot of good expression, you could have used them in the first half too when it all started to unfold to give more meaning and auditory expression and would help to tell the story even more clearly Overall you did an amazing job with this project, and quite entertaining too!! Nice nod at the end for Innocent too, that was very creative!! ^w^ Can't wait to see what else you've got in store for everyone!! ^^

Nice animation and after the whole part of the others having troubles, Lilia sees her friends group and I think Scarlet appears too but in a mysterious way, then Poool disappears and the whole place too and Lilia's appearance changes, I guess it's the beginning of what's going to happen next, Am I right?
