Yesterday's bible chapter (Psalm 9) Verse 1 &10 I thank you, God, with my whole heart, I recount all your wonders. Those who revere your name can rely on you, you never desert those who seek you, O Lord. David showed great love for God. I love the way he wasn't ashamed to speak about God. I won't say a lot of christians are ashamed. It is more like fear...the fear of offending the next person. It doesn't show love or respect for God. David described an important way to praise God and that is by remembering and speaking of the wonderful things He has done. We can also give thanks through music. We can praise God by simply finding and expressing gladness and joy in Him. Rather then gossip or complain about the hardship we face, brethren let us remember the good and give thanks to God. I remember seeing some drummers at a festival years ago. They drummed and people danced. The more the people danced and gave them money, the harder they hit their drums. This is the same way our praises speak to God. It encourages Him to do more for us. Holy Spirit we thank You for this reminder today. Help us do better. May we be encouraged to give thanks for all the Lord has done and the many blessings to come. Good morning my brothers and sisters. God bless you💕
