Daily Tarot Card of the Day: How to do a Daily Tarot Draw

Thank you for your support over the years! I have retired from teaching tarot, but want to leave these videos as a resource for anyone who would like to learn.
The cards used in all of my videos are from The Simple Tarot Deck Starter Kit, which is now permanently out of print.

Absolutely true. It absolutely helped me get them remembered, yrs ago. Great advice. I used to do that and it so helped me. Today’s my 64th birthday so its a great day to restart this again.

Thanks for talking about how to draw an evening card! I have a hard time with morning cards, I let it panic me too much, once I drew the Tower card and ruined my morning waiting for a calamity that never came.

That's why I never ask for a card to represent my day, just for one to give me an idea I should ponder on during the day.

Something was drawing me back to my tarot deck (The Guilded Tarot) and I started shuffling today during work and the Temperance card popped out randomly during my shuffle today. I’m using that card today as a reminder to keep my emotions balanced today. Sometimes work can be really frustrating. So today I’m looking at the card whenever I feel my emotions fluctuate into frustration a lot. I think it actually is helping.

Thanks so much for this! I am a beginner and have been curious but hesitant to do the daily card pulls because I didn’t want to do it “wrong”. If doing a daily single card pull is there a benefit to tracking the pulled cards for trends? For example if I have a bunch of swords and not many wands. Or a lot of 7s. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

If i used the 3 card spread should i shuffle between pulling the cards or pull one after the other after shuffling once

You can if you want to, but I don't think it's required.

Excuse me one question. In your post chart the card 11 is Justice, in my cards it is strength... I am a beginner and I would like to understand why. Thank you

Some decks (Thoth, Marseille, and others) have the 8 as Justice and the 11 as Strength. The RWS-based decks switch them. Hope that helps!

@@TheSimpleTarot Strength card: I have been thru alot in my life and have had to ground myself and stand up again despite large losses, I have sacrificed (or lost) material and relationship pleasures I enjoyed before, I have been replacing them with inner strength, the divines light and humility, I have had several years now to contemplate my path forward, I have surrendered it all to the universe and the Divine, innocence and unconditional love is what I have now, I try to share that with those around me and in my dealings with circumstances that arise in this life, to look inside, seek guidance and act truthfully, Death inverted: I still have moments of resistance to change, death comes to all things, hand in hand with life, one for the other. There is beauty in death, as the old passes, the new arises, the new is better, it is expanding my personal growth with light. this card tells me about my own transformation in all aspects, the strength of death in his armor confirms change is inevitably mine. The sun setting between the two towers makes way for the moon, I am a cancer, I am and have always been drawn to the energy of the moon, I speak to the Divine before the moon. Even last night. @@Wolf-CanisLupus Tarot humor! I love it!!! (And yes, you did - sorry about that.) You're readings seem spot on. Since the cards jumped out at you & weren't part of a traditional "reading" it gives you a lot of leeway with interpretation. Information is good, but what are you going to do with it? Will this knowledge change anything about your thoughts, beliefs, choices, words, or actions?
