I’m 53 and have been coloring my hair for many years and had the same issue with my color/regrowth and my stylist suggested doing semi-permanent color and it was a life changer. It doesn’t fully color the grays so they look more like highlights (which I actually love for some warmth/depth) and it grows in beautifully. I use Aveda color products and am so happy with the results. Good luck!

Marmite LOVER!!!! But not with a buttery knife!!!! I always use a fresh spoon. I’m 45 and got Botox in my forehead as my lines were so deep, it’s amazing I’d never go back 🤣🤣 embrace the grey!! I grew mine out during lockdown and I absolutely love it! Its so much healthier and no more money and time wasted in the chair

I had a physio and massage educatiom session after second c section but was clearly too early as had a wound infection and it was a nightmare. Ive been too scared to try since. So sometimes I think later is better. We saw you last week at kids inclusive theatre show- made my day to say hi! I was scared as didnt want to intrude as you were with Rudy. I love that you seem so down to earth and yet you are like the more polished cooler version of us! I told my husband- im wearing all these clothes and makeup Lilly recommended- he thought that was a bit creepy!

Managing the scar after c-section can be toublesome - especially if it's a second c-section as they obviously have to cut through old scar tissue again. They try to go low so it sits just above the pubic bone and is less obvious afterwards - let's be thankful they rarely have to do a longitudenal incision these days! - but that can cause issues with the tightness of the area. I put on a lot of weight during pregnancy and have never really lost it so having extra fat on my abdomen means I have a bit of an overhang on my c-section scar - but it's more of a cosmetic problem and no one (except my husband) sees that area and he doesn't care!

Hey Lily I've had a c-section too. When I went to physical therapy, she recommended dry needling. It was amazing! It helped my scar feel so much softer and less prominent. It also made my c-section over hang less noticeable. I am in the U.S. so not sure if dry needling is a thing in the U.K. but maybe worth asking.

You can barely see the lines on your forehead! (I can see my wrinkles in the dark, lol!) Best quote I found recently: “Age is a privilege denied to too many; appreciated by too few. Yes my face shows my age. It tells the story of happy days in the sunshine, of laughter, of pain which has grown my character. I’m choosing to age with pride. A few wrinkles aren’t going to stop me feeling pretty.” 😘

My C section caused secondary infertility, I had no aftercare and no idea that internal scarring from it can cause infertility. I'm having my second baby/c section in 3 days time after having IVF. Definitely going to research aftercare more this time so would love to see how this journey goes for you x

I'm so sorry to hear this but just in case anyone else is reading this and worrying about it, it is only in @2% of cases that scarring of the uterus after c-section can cause this. Tbh there really isn't anything you can do afterwards to prevent it as the uterus lies pretty deep.

I use next to no marmite 😂 takes me years to finish a jar. I’m referring to NZ marmite though which is a bit different. Looove marmite with avo as well.
