Hi Adam, what I like about your videos is that beyond telling WHAT TO DO you always emphasize where THE ATTENTION should go (face relaxed, placement of the pressure, ...). This tells a lot about the actual goal of the exercise.

Hello! For anyone who started recently on this whole thing of singing, PLEASE remember to always hydrated your throat, hydrating is like the first step, if you don't hydrated, your throat will get sore very quickly, when you will warm up, and sing, also, if you don't hydrated properly/enough before singing, your voice might crack easily, or it will be hard to reach a high note without hurting or pushing to hard, hope this help !

Hi there. Thank u so much for your videos. I've been watching them just for 4 days and I already made so much progress. Now I can sing for hours and my voice doesn't hurt at all, but I'd like to have a private lesson online with u at least 1 to evaluate my voice and tell me what else I can do to learn more.

Hi Adam! Much respect to you for really helping out voice artists who are struggling ! Like myself I have a question about ‘The puffy cheeks ‘ technique Do we need the air to escape our closed mouths little bit? Or can we do it with puffed cheeks but mouth completely closed ? Because in your video you said that some air should escape the mouth while puffed But when you’re humming Your mouth Appears completely closed..?

Hi Adam, I have been watching your videos recently and i have a question that I cannot find the answer. Can a Bass voice turn or be in tenor range ?
@cannonballbob6949
@cannonballbob6949 2 ай бұрын
Yes, a bass voice can be in the tenor range! The simplest explanation is that a tenors lowest low note is always gonna be a lot lower then the highest note of a bass singer, but im assuming that's not what you mean. But a bass singers (with training) can reach notes higher, than the highest note, of the vast majority of songs! The biggest difference is that a bass singer will generally have more difficulty reaching the same high note as a tenor, and the bass singer will probably have to practice a lot more to hit that note well! HOWEVER! A normal tenor range can NOT reach the lowest notes of a bass singer! And their low notes will generally not sound as good as a bass singers! So to summarise, a bass singer can reach basically all notes of a tenor range, except for maybe the CRAZY high notes (notes in the 5th octave); but it will most likely require a lot more practice to reach the same quality and ease compared to the tenor. And a tenor can't reach the bottom notes of bass voice (only with special techniques, which the bass singer can also use to reach even lower notes). Also a bass singers voice will have their optimal range (so called "prima voce") lower than the tenor (bassically where it's the easiest to sing and where the sound resonates and comes out the cleanest) ^^

Sometimes my thoat gets sore when I do warm ups, how do I not get my throat sore
@cannonballbob6949
@cannonballbob6949 2 ай бұрын
By using proper technique! If your throat is getting sore from the warm ups, then you're either pushing to hard or using improper technique! You could also be dehydrated, make sure to drink water (if you're not thirsty tho, then you need only about a mouthful if any) about 15-20 minutes (that's how logn it takes for the water to hydrate your throat and vocal cords) before warming up! If you are not dehydrated, and not pushing hard, you should try to improve your technique; using proper breath support with from your stomach, being relaxed and fixing some other common improper technique quirks that you may have (going to far up with your larynx, tensing your tounge and pulling it back, and so on). One thing that find helpful in warming up is doing it in a warm shower (not hot), cus the steam can warm up your voice a bit for you. Try going up and down in your range only where you are relaxed, singing should basically feel just as relaxed as simply standing. I recommend staying in your speaking voice range going aaaaaaah up and down, and try to not go breathy! And one last thing; injury! If you have gone to hard to often your voice might be straigned and you need to take a break until the voice feels like normal if it isn't. Doing the "strwa excersise" is also a good recovery method. And for the love of god, don't whisper. Whisper = throat muscles usage, hurts the voice and untrains the voice to be full and weakens vocal cord clusre. So only speak normaly, but if you've lost your voice or it just hurts, try to minimise the amount of speaking! A lot of info but, hopefully something in here can be usefull 😅
