It's finally here. After two straight years of Democrats screaming "Russian Collusion" the Mueller Report has been released. Is it a slam dunk for the president? How will the Left try to spin it in their favor? Is this the Thanos death-snap of the Dems' chances for a 2020 White House win?
Join this roundtable discussion featuring @Ben Shapiro, @Andrew Klavan, @Michael Knowles, and Daily Wire god-king Jeremy Boreing, as they get to the bottom of these questions and more.

Even though they are using the LWC mugs as ashtrays, the fact that it's in the shot at all, to me acknowledges that these platforms support each other. Free publicity is the best kind of publicity. If SC didn't give away those mugs, the Daily Wire crew bought them with Mug Club membership(s).

These Backstage segments should definitely be more often... probably the most entertaining things they have right now (mainly subscribed to The Daily Wire for support and news)... only thing they have to improve is the audio. Also I like how they had the host (keep forgetting her name) actually in the same room this time and not broadcasting from somewhere else...

1:08:50 Wow! This imagery is straight out of the novel, Atlas Shrugged! It is something remembered by the character, Eddie Willers. He remembers a tree that seemed so strong, but one day it was struck by lightning and he discovered that it had rotted inside. Ayn Rand used this as a metaphor for the railroad, Taggart Transcontinental--and American society in general--in the book.

To suggest that Trump is the only person who has ever lied to the public or have used massive force of power or blurred the lines of power is deeply dishonest. As much as you offer evidence of how “bad” trump is, all I think is “what person in politicos hasn’t done that?” I just thought it was assumed that politics is a dirty game. It’s depicted as such in every movie, tv show, etc.

Great conversation at the end. I love Jeremy, but I disagree with him the most. For one, he is wrong about the Middle Ages. I don't think I even need to point out the silliness of the mud farming stereotype. Monty Python is obviously not a good source for historical data, and mud farming doesn't even make sense. Anyway, I'll only comment on his point about medieval men's view of nature. Medieval people certainly felt God within His creation, and on a more profound level than we do. They believed that God imbued His creation with meaning and purpose, and that each wonder was meant to point us toward the heavenly, that we may perceive through the visible that which is invisible. And it happens that there was some beautiful poetry written about the sunset. Here is an example from a poem called The Order of the World by an Anglo-Saxon poet some time during or before the 10th century: Each morning the sun rises, bright and beautiful, Over the misty hills, the dark horizon, Walks out of the east over the waves, Wondrously adorned at the day's dawn. The brightest of flames, a lustrous light, Shines on the living, the torch of God. It is a source of splendor, magnificent to men On earth who have been given the gift of sight By the Creator and King. Then the glorious star Sails off into the western sky like a wanderer Until it dives down in the last touch of twilight Into the deep waters of the western seas. Night follows according to the Lord's natural laws. The sun sails downward into darkness, Shining somewhere on secret roads Under earth's embrace, behind the world. No man is so wise that he knows the way This traveler takes, or where the bright blaze Hides its light, brilliant as gold, How it sails over the plains into the endless edge Of darkness and beneath the surging seas, Or what earth-dweller in an unknown land Might still see the sun's splendor Across the ocean while we sleep in darkness.

Jeremy might not have come out of that alive if they did. However, to whomever may care, the belief and veneration of Relics within the Catholic Church is actually....optional. No Catholic is actually required to believe that any Relics have actual spiritual value, or that the Relics of Christ (the Crown of Thorns, The Wood of the True Cross, the Shroud of Turin, etc) are authentic. The way it was explained to me (and I'll say that you should take this part with a grain of salt) is that the Church's Teaching Authority itself isn't sure about the Relics either, and keeps and teaches about them as a sorta just in case deal and if nothing else, pieces of our spiritual history to be kept the same way items historical value are kept and cared for. Personally, if nothing else, I think that the Shroud is probably authentic, I attended a lecture of sorts a few years back that gave a very strong argument for its legitimacy.
