In verse, Matthew 24:35, it says Heaven and Earth will pass away. Isn't Christian Heaven eternal and what is the meaning in that verse if Heaven is supposed to be eternal?

I believe Jesus is referring to what is prophesied in Revelation 21. There will be a new Heaven and new earth created. The conjecture is that God will at some point far down the road begin again and start over, thus providing us a fresh new start as He had planned before this world fell apart. Great question. The Bible is silent on the details of what is happening in Heaven right now, or anytime in the past. We must give bible verses describing exactly what is happening in Heaven right now. i know Paul says "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord", and Jesus told a story about Lazarus and the rich man, before Jesus died and went somewhere after his death, and John the Revelator was taken into the future to see Heaven, but Jesus said He is the first of the resurrected. The Bible says the dead know nothing. and Jesus always referred to death as sleep. We Christians must search and find specific Bible verses that tell us what Heaven is now and how is ther, and what they are doing. Praise Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Maranatha Jesus.

Hello The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

I am sorry to say, there very little information about heaven, nothing about heaven you would think as talk about heaven. I’m confused if there a place call heaven, a city of gold,and the light of god is that it?
