This is what I found about paper thickness: "Do not use heavier or lighter paper (except for Canon genuine paper), as it could jam in the printer. However, you can use non-Canon genuine art paper that is up to 53 lb / 200 gsm. See Non-Canon genuine specialty paper. Do not use paper thicker than this, as it could jam in the printer."

Nice presentation !! I also purchased this printer but when I print photos at plain paper from my pc, they have dark colors even if I choose photo paper options. There is diference at colors when you choose bordered or borderless ?

I see a difference when I print borderless on regular paper. The colors are washed out with this option. Printing on photo paper I don't really see a difference between borderless and print with border.

Not sure how it compares to Epson. It's recommended to use ink from Canon.

Sure, it's a good printer. Didn't have any issues with it, except the borderless issue I mentioned in the video.

I think you only need a local network (a router) and you don't need an account. When you first setup the printer you may need to have an active internet account, but I'm not completely sure about that.

It's a tank printer. You fill it up with ink bottles instead of replacing plastic cartridges

The photo print quality is very good. The profesional photo printers may have better/more accurate colors, but for the price, I can't say nothing bad about the photos that come out of this printer.

Salut! I tried it today with A4 90g paper. Unfortunately I don't have vellum paper, but I suspect this printer will be able to handle that kind of paper without any problems. Btw, în trecut am urmărit multe clipuri de pe canalul vostru. Super faine!

You can scan the document, save the image on your computer and then make as many copies as you want. Or you push the copy button on the printer multiple times.

Thank you for your efforts and some expinations, actually your video lacks some details like how to load papers because printers are different in this matter, in addition how did you connect your laptop with your printer is not clear, further more the first one or two minutes is too fast even when decreasing the video's speed will still not clear. overall thank you very much

1. I think most people know where the paper goes. 2. I did not connect the laptop to the printer. I just installed the software exactly like I showed in the video and everything works through Wi-Fi.

It's not about putting the papers, I meant how to load the papers what buttons to press etc. Second thing regarding the software you installed is not clear because the camera angel is far from the laptop, any how after hours trying I figured out how to run the printer, please watch your video again and check if you can see the software you installed

Very good presentation ! I purchased this printer a few days ago but when I print a photo borderless the colors are washed out and when I print with borders the photo has dark colors. Should I choose the option photo paper while using plain paper ? Also what photo paper option ?

Yes, I noticed that when printing borderless on normal paper. The colors are washed out. The quick fix was to select borderless photopaper even when printing on normal paper. I've seen discussions on a Canon forum but I don't think Canon actually addressed that.
