Omg that ol DM mack, that model right there brings back so many memories for me when I was a kid 7 8 years old, there was a guy that lived around the corner from my house he used to start that beast up in the morning wooooow that truck right there let out a roar, even with cold starts it would take him a few tries next thing I know I would hear that cold start roar letting it be known let's go to work, it had all the same details as that one with one exception, the one I'm referring to was a big green dump truck that use to impress me so much just when I here the motor had my heart drop, those Cummins engines & anything with a Detroit engine caught my attention quick, I'm 50 now I still can hear that motor sometimes in my when I see these videos thank you for the memories bro keep em coming 💯

Both beautiful and incredibly sad at the same time...hope some were saved. Great video, thank you.

Really enjoy your videos. Nothing is more enjoyable than looking at this old iron and reflecting back in the day when it was hard at work. I share your love of Brocks as that what I cut my teeth on riding with my dad back in the early 70s. Detroit powered 359s hauling precast concrete products

A cool old collection of trucks, they are still around sitting awaiting their demise....you gotta think about the men that drove them ...they're long gone from this earth. You have great videos, thank you for making and sharing them. I am partial to the Mack B Model Tandem especially..

I saw that ol DM Mack and had to stop in. I never realized there were so many people that loved these old warriors. The stories they could tell.

I doubt it but I hope someone grabbed a couple of those beasts & restored them, cause they don't deserve to go out like this 💯

LIke #8. Mint vidya. Sad in a way. I had the exact same GMC truck 86 [looks like an 86 anyway] Last summer I donated it for its 350 to a local hot rod museum. Ohhhhh...at the end of the vid, that yellow GM or Chev with the tandem,...oooh, i've never seen a tandem before of that model. Aww my aching heart.

Would have been great to see if the “will it start” folks could get anything cranked to garner excitement to save them.

They would have the work cut out for them. However, more than a few of the "better" trucks started up with little trouble.

Pretty awesome video man, always got to watch your uploads, so much history. These relics brought us where we are today. There's an old timer in my area that has a brockway collection, maybe at least a dozen of them, I pass by every so often. I may ask if I can look around someday when I have time.

That is sad,don't even want to know how many got scrapped.Worse yet wonder how many he never sold because"he was going to get to them some day".
@johnmccartan9392 жыл бұрын
Anything marked with an X is being scrapped .Others parted then scrapped . Definitely are trucks that can be restored here with the time ,money & knowhow.
@Mdcusin9752 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing when watching the video, but I think they were sold whole or scrapped, I don't think anything was parted out

There was a sale many many years ago, the X trucks were not part of the sale. Now that Bill passed away it all went to the junk man.
