So, I've only ever played Brotherhood. Recently, I got Odyssey Ultimate Edition cause it was on mega sale. About 36 hours in, and, to be fair, it's a pretty ballin' game. Kinda jank not having much of anything to do with the assassins, but the narrative is still fairly engaging and has something to do with the greater plot at large. I do get mad at the combat loop, though. Like it doesn't want to react sometimes.
