This is a an interesting mindgame with a hypothetical embedded question to twist it, much like trying to tell a liar to tell the truth. "If I would ask you "does 2 plus 2 equal 4", would you answer yes?" The liar would say "no" to the embedded question so it lies about that and says "yes" This embedded question is more twisted because it has options. We have to work with the hypothetical and work backwards. Let's assume the right answer to the whole question is 50%. If it were you'd have 25% chance to get it right at random, since only 1 of the 4 options is 50%. But selecting 25% means 50% wasn't the right answer after all, so our assumption was wrong and therefore this answer is incorrect. Let's assume the right answer to the whole question is 25%.
