You can drive up to 6 months on foreign license as a tourist from most countries and you need International drivers PERMIT if you are staying legally in the USA for more than 6 months and up to 1 year. After that you need local driving license that you can obtain based on your existing license or have to pass the written test and/or driving test depending what country you’re from.

We don’t get to see that video so we don’t know whether that occurred or not. Cop pulled me over giving me much attitude. I gave him attitude back. He got me out the car and asked me what my issue was. I asked him what have I don't in our 2 min interaction that would justify him talking to me like that and why wouldn't I be pissed for being treated that why. He looked at me and said "you're right. I'm sorry." he gave me a ticket for my tail light. A week later I checked the status for a court date. He never put it into the system. 👍🏽🤘🏽

Please do bear in mind that that sergeant’s only concern was protecting the system while covering for the jackbooted, order-following tyrant who confronted you where the rubber meets the road. This isn’t a matter of some officer who made an honest mistake requiring better “training,” rather this is a systemic problem. The sergeant knew exactly what the officer’s protocol was, and it’s only because you had the ability-the balls, the wherewithal, the financial resources and backing-to call out the tyranny that it ended as well as it did.
