My wife and I visited Carmel from Wisconsin in '94 during Clint Eastwood's tenure as mayor, on our last trip "before children". We drove out in her new silver Honda Prelude that had a glass sunroof, alloy wheels etc. What a great "ride" for us along Hwy 1. Carmel was so romantically picturesque and charming as not to be believed, as was the whole coastal route including the perfect weather. On our way back we drove through Utah and we have video of my wife driving on a section of the highway at 120mph....."crazy kids"....... We eventually created two children!
