Few weeks ago I hit a deer with my truck . I prayed and stay positive and he did help me put truck back together so blessed. Then as I finished the work I seen I had a flat tire. So I went to take tire off and realized my lug nuts was loose and about to fall off. I realized God did this to save me or my kids riding in my truck. Pastor Rick, you are truly a Godsend! This is the second sermon I listen from you, and I end up in tears. I truly feel like it was meant for me to hear. I'm going through depression and anxiety and haven't been at work for a month. Believe me I try everyday to be strong and keep my faith, but sometimes I just get that feeling? Why does my God Lord and Savior permit so much for me to go through??? I thank and Praise God that I no longer think of not being in this world anymore. He sent me His two amazing sons to watch over and protect, and I try as hard as I can. They both love God and Praise Him for everything, the good and the bad. They are both always happy to help out at church and anyone. That is a Wonderful blessing from God!! I feel heart broken and defeated, but I Praise God everyday with or without tears in my eyes. What a wonderful and extremely important message to hear and practice! Thank you so much for Sharing it, Pastor Rick. I think it's vital to understand that no one should be expected to ignore problems they encounter or always act as though bad things and bad people don't exist. It is quite normal to experience pain, fear, and frustration. What makes the life-changing difference, as pointed out in this video, is to Not stay in that dejected state. Do your best to keep your focus on what's Good and what can be done to make things better. And above all else, don't let Anybody steal your happiness!! It's very clear to me that far too many seem to be on a mission to do so.

Pastor Rick: I read your book The Purpose Driven Life as soon as it was published and I bought some copies to give to my loved ones. I am so thankful as it helped me a great deal in one of my lower points of my life. I'm listening to this massage, I have, however, a question about the happiness. I have been searching for happiness all my life, my realization is that happiness is a feeling, an emotion we fresh long for, Bible does not talk about "Happy" but "Rejoice". And Rejoice is spiritual thing, and only in God , through Holy Spirit that our hearts may rejoice in the midst of sufferings.
