Remember watching this at least a year ago and not understanding a word. Coming back and understanding all of it feels surreal

how did you practice japanese?
@BestTrader-hp2sdАй бұрын
@@pedroba76I too want to know.
@LilGAMEBOYTM26 күн бұрын
@@pedroba76 sorry for such a late reply but in short, I learned more words and listened a lot. Finding something simple to watch and hearing the sounds is enough to start building a foundation. I'm no where near fluent but because I listen as much as I can I keep making progress.

It would be interesting to see more videos about everyday vocab and phrases. Like "I hang the coat on a hook", "I take my shoes off", "I open the window because it's hard to breathe", "I flush the toilet", "I accidentally dropped milk on the floor and now i need to wipe a puddle with this cloth". This vocab is rarely in the textbooks or movies, it can only be acquired when you live with Japanese person.
@UzumakiHarutoJP Жыл бұрын
that last one 💀
@Hank-Lapin Жыл бұрын
How often do you use that kind of vocab in conversation? 😀
@ganqqwerty Жыл бұрын
@@Hank-Lapin well, all the time. A guest comes to you, you say: “you can hang your coat here”. Then he spills the water, you say: “oh, no problem, I will clean it”. It becomes too hot and hard to breathe, you need to communicate that. Try to live in a dormitory with 3 neighbors, it 60% of your conversations.

Daily Japanese with Naoko is an excellent resource. It's very practical, organized very well, the vocabulary is presented in an very engaging manner, and each lesson is around 10 minutes. That is a perfect amount of time: long enough to learn not too long to be overwhelming!

As a beginner (I'm study for N5), I understood pretty much everything. Only thing is that I didn't understand every single word but I still managed to understand every phrase. Maybe it's also thanks to the little images that you put on screen sometimes but it wasn't so often. So, in the end I want to say that this video is perfect for beginners who want to improve listening ability like me. I'm going to check your channel hoping that you made more videos like this one but if that's not the case, please do it, it'd be extremely useful
This was the PERFECT video for an intermediate learner of Japanese. I wish I would have found this 6 months ago - but better late than never! Thank you so much, and please make more like this!

If you can understand everything would you consider it as already N4 listening skills or still N5

Vocab and grammar all N5, but most students don’t have enough listening practice at this level, so this great!

Been Japanese studying at uni, in my second semester now. Its quite motivating to be able to understand most of this video (especially with the JP sub titles. My reading comprehension is way better than my listening). I still have a long way to go, but i think i can finally stop feeling like I've learnt absolutely nothing lol
