It’s definitely a fantastic system when it works. If you look at the owners forums, lots of complaints about it freezing/lagging/going black randomly/carplay not working etc. Hopefully GM addresses this… pretty dangerous when the headlights are controlled by the screen and it freezes/goes black.

Can you type in the search bar on apple maps or Google maps while driving? My Tacoma will not let anyone type using the keyboard. But my VW will.

Love my '23 Z71. One question, on the digital gauge cluster, when you change radio stations using the steering wheel control, it'll display the radio station 50% of the time. Other times it will randomly not display this radio station change. Any idea why that might be happening?

Probably just a Chevy glitch. Unless you have a head up display, in which case, is it showing up there?

@@DailyMotor don't have HUD. I think it's a glitch too, when I called Chevy they couldn't understand my issue 🫠

I use library discs a lot for books on CD. No disc input on the Colorado. Bought a new disc player and have connected it on my Miata but cannot find a way to do it on the 2023 Colorado. USB does not recognize it although it does spin the disc. HELP. Thanks

There are wireless Bluetooth adapters that you should be able to plug into your cd player, then sync it with the infotainment system.

The cost of whatever data plan you want. You can buy them monthly or yearly. The on star plus unlimited att hotspot is 30 a month.

For my 2022.5 Silverado it’s $24.19/month for remote access and the ATT plan. I don’t know if it still is, but when I signed up it was the cheapest way to keep the google built-in features and the remote access features.

This proves they don’t have to remove CarPlay from the EVs! It’s literally the same software. They’re just being jerks! That being said at least it’s a nice system. I won’t miss it but they should give people the option. Oh and the buckle to drive, I need to enable that for my wife! Can you lock that setting behind a PIN? 😅

2023 Colorado Wireless ApplePlay is great until your OnStar 30 day trial expires, then you have to plug in your phone to USB port. Disappointing!

I don't believe that's true. We just purchased a 2023 Bolt, if wireless CarPlay stops working after OnStar expires, I'll report.

Carplay isn’t affected, but the built in maps and good assist quit working.

My lane assist is unavailable, my auto high beams stopped working…my chev service dept said they couldn’t recreate the issue but yet still an issue when I drove it right after. I’m so frustrated

@@dianebruce3525 unhook the battery for a 1/2 or so. Had similar issues on my Silverado and thats resolved the issue.
