I live in the UK, few weeks ago I was visiting Pakistan and had to drive on M2 from Chakwal to Lahore. I can say with all honesty driving on the motorway reminded me of the days when I use to go for gokarting. Big SUVs by which I mean Toyota Land cruisers saloon cars likes of Honda civic Toyota corolla even the buses overtaking me at speeds in excess of 160 170 kmph bearing in mind legal speed on M2 is 120kmph which I was doing in my car. I was absolutely shocked to see the driving style of LTV and HGV drivers. Absolute lack of patience and regard for other road users. No matter how many traffic laws are made if people aren't gonna follow them then this is all you gonna get. Stop speeding stop blaming your luck stop blaming other people take some responsibility and definitely stop saying oh that's what was Allah's will. Sorry rant over!!!

This all happened just because of motorway authorities laziness. They take all the money of people in tool taxes but when incidents happen they dont take the responsibility. And rescue teams came 15 minutes late? Why not 2 minutes late? What if someone would have died? What if in all these cars together 1 car blew up and all cars burn. This was extremely dangerous. Now motorway authorities should be sorry to all the people and give them compensation for the people loss. This is respectfully all the fault of motorway authorities. When they knew that this much fog is there why would they let them go. And if they didn't know then what is purpose of motorway authorities? I guess motorway is better off without authorities. They take their pays and budgets to protect and help the people. But what are we seeing. Every year alot of accident happens and more and more people dies! Motorway authorities should compensate for the loss of people. Otherwise they all should resign

First rescue teams can't arrive 2 minutes after in huge stretches of roads. It takes time. Second accidents happen throughout the world, doesn't mean that authorities should resign. Third yes due to heavy fog/smog the motorway should have been shutdown- pure negligence there. I would also add that our population try be overly intelligent and despite harsh weather will still try to travel even if they can clearly see what may happen. They don't wear seat belt and continuously overspeed.

@@dunnokhan6606 there's a 2.5/2 time limit for rescue teams of any sort (ambulance, police department, etc.) Abroad, we here say that it's impossible even though it is not, people are injured that injury could've been fatal, or anything bad could've happened stop trying to be a keyboard warrior without knowing any factual statements, in simple terms it is more than possible but our teams have not informed any of them about the heavy fog and also there are no standby motorway police cars.

@@ArsalanKhan-ro6xo dude stop smoking things before writing. This isn't a city where 2 minute rule can be enforced. It is a highway, huge stretches of land without population. If they apply a 2 minute rule imagine the amount the of infrastructure they would need every few kms which isn't feasible. I would suggest before criticising others, use something called commonsense. Even in cities this isn't possible in Pakistan and many cities throughout the world for that matter. Just because you live overseas doesn't mean that other people haven't live abroad. I have seen places where forget about emergency services you wouldn't even find petrol for next 300 kms! Yes motorway should have been closed due to fog, but that is the only point I would agree with. Negligence on behalf of authorities.
