@@syedsulaiman8380 There are more uses for a coiled cable than that. My car has Android Auto (which I'm still wondering the value of) which needs my phone jacked. The logical resting place for the phone is in the console 8" or so from the jack. But I still need to lift the phone at times. A coiled cable is a great thing, and I sure don't need to add more cables to my collection.

I simplified the process so anyone can do it 😉. If you want custom sleeving, aviator connectors, etc. It takes more time, requires more tools and costs way more. 😂

Thanks for this! I figured the part about heating the cable on a mandrel, but didn't know about reversing the coil to get the spring back effect. This cable was so frustrating to use, but now it's a pleasure. I looked for pre-coiled versions, but they cost 2x more than the one I already had.

Could you try using different springs for linear switches in your keyboard videos. For example making a lightest switch with 20g springs.

When reversing the cable do I have to tape it and wait again or just reverse it and just wait for a few seconds then remove it from the stick??

When reversing, you don't need to wait. You can tape it if you want so it's secure, I didn't do it because I just held one end with my hand and started reversing the coil.
