GGs!! NRG has fallen off. Really disappointed…. Ardiis has had a lot of ups and downs and I don't know what Victor is thinking, but his precision and discipline have been really inconsistent lately. FNS's IGLing has also become poor. I don't know what the future holds for NRG, but I think there will definitely be a member change. BLG is really crazy. Defeating NRG twice in his first international tournament is a historic achievement. Whyz and Yosemite are absolute two-headed beasts.

But the scene now has dominant IGL’s who can also get double digit kills before OT (looking at the NRG/Zeta game). You can’t rely on the other 4 players carrying the duels when the enemy team has all 5 players able to hold their own. Just like the scene moved past old sentinels, they’re refusing to adapt and improve. Now Bilibili comes along with Biank as an IGL who can also slay, and they get 4-0’d

It's not arrogance, NRG have not gone out in groups since like 2021, the optic core has made the top 3 throughout all of 2022. They're a top level team while this is BLG's first international event. With how the teams were performing BEFORE facing each other, NRG definitely looked like a better team. It was entirely reasonable to predict NRG’s win. But Bilibili improved in a big way before champs, where NRG players got complacent. The label of “arrogant” lies on NRG, not the casters. It was Valorants biggest upset to date, that’s enough on its own. Trying to act like it was actually a reasonable expectation is kind of insulting to the scale of the upset
