Boat turned out AWESOME.... you started the series out by saying u were basically gonna be doing the bare minimum but ended up having one hell of a boat.. and can compete with the "professional" boat builders on KZbin..... congrats brother

Thanks Milton! I tried to stay true to my budget build plan. The fish finder I already had, battery was the most expensive. But other than that, I think I am around $500 in materials. Cheap EVA foam from Amazon and some wood and paint. I’ll do a video of the total cost breakdown for you guys this weekend. Still much cheaper than the cost of a new Jon boat by itself though. Thanks for following the series and for the compliment!

Looks good! 2 things , kasi said paint that wood on the back for the motor mount !! 2nd watch your battery, the heat in that box with the foam may get really hot

Tell Kasi that I like my wood raw. 😈 Gives it that Old Jon Boat vibe🤘 I talked to the battery company about my plan to put the battery in a box and concerns with heat. They said their batteries have an operating temp up to 140° and it should be fine. But, I’ll take my temp g*n and check it if I am out next time in hot sun. Thanks for watching the series bud!
