বছরের প্রথম দিন সোমবার, এবং আমার একমাত্র মেয়ের (বয়স চার বছর) স্কুলের প্রথম দিন এটি। গত কাল রাতে যখন আমি এই কথা গুলো ইংরেজিতে বলার চেষ্টা করছিলাম, তার পরই বুঝতে পারলাম যে, Articles এবং Prepositions নিয়ে সত্যিকার অর্থে আমি ভীষন ঝামেলার মধ্যে আছি। এর পর চিন্তা ভাবনা করে কিছুটা সমাধান হয়তো করতে পেরেছি; তার পরও কিছু প্রশ্ন মাথার মধ্যে থেকেই যাচ্ছে। যেমন: ১। সোমবার ছিল বছেরর প্রথম দিন-Monday was the first day of the year. (Article, Preposition এবং Sentence টি ঠিক আছে কি না?) ২। আমার মেয়ের স্কুলের প্রথম দিন-My daughter's first day of school.(Sentence টি ঠিক আছে কি না এবং school এর পূর্বে The বসবে কি না?) ৩। আমার মেয়ের স্কুলের প্রথম দিন-First day of school of my daughter. (Sentence টিকে এভাবেও বলা যায় কি না, preposition ঠিক আছে কি না এবং of ছাড়াও অন্য কোনো prepositions বসানো যাবে কি না?) স্যার, আপনাকে এই ধরনের প্রশ্ন করার উপযুক্ত সময় হয়তো এখনই নয়, তার পরও উত্তর গুলো খুব জানতে ইচ্ছে করছে!!!
