Love my Dainese goretex jacket (not this model) BUT as I see with this model, the thermal zipout liner is way too short, especially at the back.

Hi, I just got this jacket size 50,a bit snugly . Shop employee recomendation. Under gore tex jackes, we should not wear any thick cloths, otherwise the gore tex will not do its job properly, so that why gore tex jackets must fit a bit tight. Is there any true about it? Thanks

Gore-Tex doesn't need to fit tight, but it _IS_ important that your base-layers and mid-layers are designed to also breathe well. The base-layers you wear need to wick moisture away from your skin. The mid-layers need to insulate while also wicking moisture out to the jacket where the Gore-Tex is. Yes, it does help when the Gore-Tex jacket has a slim/snug fit, but you don't want it to be too tight. -DrewZilla

Hello @RevZilla. I'm considering either this jacket or the Dainese Tempest. What are the main differences between them besides gore-tex? Which do you recommend? I will be using it for colder (0-10 celsius), rainy days when leather is useless.

The Carve Master uses some leather in places and has insulation around the neck. Otherwise, they're very similar. I would probably get the Tempest with its lower price. -DrewZilla

Hello again, I want to know about with it's better choice for winter and water prof gore Tex jacket, the dainese carve master, rev'it neptune, klim latitude??? I have a versys 650, 1.83 and 99 kg. And other ting, what's difference between adventure and touring jacket. Tanks again. I'm from Argentina. Cold winter -2 or -3 Celsius

I attempted to answer your first question in my response to the comment you left on our Klim Badlands Pro Jacket video. I will add that the Neptune's Gore-Tex liner is removable, so it's easier for the outer jacket shell to get wet. The Carve Master comes with a removable insulated liner and fixed but non-laminated Gore-Tex liner. The Latitude does not have an insulated liner (you would provide your own insulated layers), but the Latitude's Gore-Tex liner is laminated to the outer jacket shell for better performance. As for touring vs. adventure jackets, there really isn't a functional difference. -DrewZilla

Will this jacket fit a little bigger than a Super Speed Textile? I have the super speed in a size 50 but it gets too tight when i put the d-dry liner in.

excellent Vis!! I'm looking for a jacket with some laminate for water repellent would you recommend this or would I need to go somewhere like to a Neptune or one above in the revit range. For proper water protection do we need to go to the high range rukkha?thanks

The Carve Master uses a floating Gore-Tex Z-liner, not a Gore-Tex laminate shell. For a laminate shell, I recommend the Klim Latitude, Dainese D-Cyclone, Dainese Ridder, REV'IT! Poseidon, Rukka Thund-R, and Rukka Armaxion.
