After graduation from Engineering in 2008, amidst worst recession period , my family sent me to Delhi, Mukherjee Nagar for IES preparation …. I stayed only 3 nights and 2 days there ….. and by observed the chaos of that area ….without any doubt in my mind …. I left this place… and moved immediately to Mumbai and started my first private job as Draftsman cum Design Engineer in a construction company ….. after 15 years now….. It's true that students enroll themselves in Drishti IAS after being influenced by Vikas DivyaKirti Sir. Then they realise he doesn't even take much classes. Additionally, these students start convincing themselves by saying "Selection bhale hi na ho....lekin ek Sabhay and knowledgeable insan bnke niklenge waha se" It's definitely important to become knowledgeable, but why pay such huge amounts for this sole purpose? We have internet with us. Learning is free for the most part. Education is controlled by mafia now.

Vikas Divyakirti is a very shrewd man. He markets his Institute very well. He speaks a lot about social issues and comes across as a very ideal person, but it is all for increasing the revenue of his Institute I suppose. One of the most expensive institutes for IAS preparation right now. However, it should have been the opposite, considering the amount of idealism he infuses in his speeches.

Moral - Don't listen toppers blindly. Divide your preparation in three phases: 1. Look at previous year question paper and syllabus thoroughly 2. Cover the syllabus from basic books such as Ncert followed by Standard books along with newspaper 3. In last phase, do practice a lot through pyq and mock test. All the best!

Very valid points, however if a coaching starts promoting themselves that they will just guide but hard work is to be done by the child, then the parents will not enroll their child to their coaching as parents just don't want to take any responsibility. They just want to pay the fees and then rely just on coaching. No one can guarantee a placement, but parents while enrolling them anywhere ask what guarantee do you give about placement/admissions

At the start of your career, if you start earning 25K/month. 25*12=3 lac for 3 years = 9 lac. Thats your minimum loss if you waste your time in coaching. + 2 lac fees + 3 saal ka karcha = 15 lac approx. Itna kharcha usko hi karna chahiye jisko lage ki "ukhad lunga". As far as selling on face value is concerned, if you want to make your child join cricket coaching will you make them join virendra sehwag academy or you'll be fine if a ranji player has an academy. Now if you enroll in sehwag academy does that mean the entire coaching is going to be given by sehwag himself? It works the same way everywhere. You'll be shown what you want to see, that's how marketing works.

Same school uniform hona chahiye all over india: equality aur agar bachcha by chance kisi galat school mein admission le liya aur use school change karna h to vo book se pehle uniform k liye paise collect karega. 2. Schooling aap do meeting mein kara do..lkg to 5th 9 to 2 pm and 6 to 12th 2 to 7 pm (till then they can do self study at home)..Actually aaj k student book se jyada educational video ko prefer karte h...dekho but pehle 2-3 times same topic book se read karo ..phir koi doubt ho to Ask your teacher...tab b clear na ho to video dekho...ek do achhi books to honi hi chahiye! 3. Kisi b school mein admission k liye kuch criteria set karo...ek entrance test k though shortlist karo..Atleast vo study to karenge... private mein sabko allow kar dete hain kyonki unko business jo karna h...even ye teacher se jyada student ko priority dete h ki kahi vo apna admission cancel na kara le...government school ki to already image kharab bani hui h..vahan to padhna padhana bahut bada paap h...ha but achhi baat ye h ki wahan par koi load nahi hota ...na teacher par..na parents par...aur na students par...sab khush rehte h! 4. School level pe jo bhi competitions ho..uski registration fee nahi honi chahiye...har bachche mein koi na koi talent hota hi h...aap screening karo kaun kaun deserving candidate h usko fair chance do..unk beech competition karao...ye kya matlab har kisi ko enroll kar rahe ho ..vo b paise k basis pe..ye har competition mein students se registration fee lete h..aur bahut sare bachche khud ko registered karte h..jisme se 3 rank holders hi to honge...means dukaan chal rahi h bhai...bevakuf banaya ja raha h parents ko!! 5. First grade k bachche ko App k though worksheet dete h...already screentime bahut h..ab school mein bhi...Aap prinout b to distribute kar sakte vo ...ya phir note book par dedo...abhi se unko machine banana hai kya. 6. School fee ka to puchhna hi kya h...problem ye h ki koi b parent esk against awaj hi nahi uthata h...vo sochta h ki vo thoda aur effort lagak earn kar lega...aur fee pay kar dega..but they are exploiting to the parents and teachers..even Students. 7. Main khud well educated hu ..maine koi coaching nahi liya12th tak...self study kiya.. competition mein b part liya...Awards bhi paye..Research entrance exam mein top rank holders thi...even I have been working as a physics lecturer...esliye jo maine experience kiya apni life mein wahi sab share kiya h yehan 8. One thing that is to be done by coaching institute is to check the capacity of a person and tell the person if he is able to clear in 1 year or not. Perfect time given is better because it will make person to understand the level of hardwork that is required over a long period of time. Instead of just trapping them for money. But this is why EDUCATION IS A BIG BUSINESS in INDIA. TO prove my explanation; there was a girl that arrived to KOTA from MP immediately after 12th with passing score in the board. She was from agrarian family so every family member agreed and the NEET institute admitted her without telling her the level of mental effort and emotional stress. She gave neet 2 times and failed miserably. Then she committed suicide. Sad but true.😑
