Decoupage on Metal Tin with Printed Papers

I have seen many decoupage on metal tin videos, but your method of cleaning the tin first with mineral spirits and then priming it with gesso is the BEST. That's how experts handle metal furniture and car parts. Thank you for teaching us so much and the right way to doing it, from how you clean the tin to how you paint.... I especially like your talking videos. Thank you.

ok some days you just freak me out, ive been sitting with a royal dansk cookie tin trying to figure out how to do something with it, because it has raised pattern on the lid........and she whips out the filler paste........brilliant , i love this and now i have another project to fit in somewhere lololol.......ty :)

You are amazing! Pictures of your work just jump off the page and I MUST see how you made it. We need to create a new word for your kind of genius! Do you live in the States? I don’t know anyone like you. Can you tell me if you’re spatula is made for confections or hardware applications? What do you call it? It’s perfect for cutting off excess clay without pulling it out of the mold. It must be fairly sharp.

I have found that if you dust them with a thin coating of corn flower first they pop right out!
