Is that meant to be sarcasm? Do you mean dryer? Wet things freeze more easily.

Wetter feed sticks to the walls more. We had some haylage at 68% moisture earlier this year, and it was sticking to the walls just like the corn silage. Dryer feed won't stick to the wall but won't pack as tight.
