let's say i have 3 groups of exposed triples of type pins by chi or pong. If i game with all pins, does the person who discard pay for all, as in pau?

The pao rule only applies to specific cases, like daisangen and daisuushii. There is no pao rule for most other yaku. Just because someone let you call multiple tiles for a chinitsu doesn't necessarily mean that they have to pay the value of your hand. When the pao rule is not involved, which is most cases, then points are paid out normally.

@@LightGrunty The pao rule for Chinitsu applies for Hong Kong and Singapore style Mahjong.

Just wondering, what mahjong set are you using?

I'm using an AMOS Hannya, a top-quality set that was discontinued some time ago.

@@LightGrunty do you know a set you could recommend? I'm in the US.

@@Foster.Phillip I would recommend any AMOS-brand set. There are a handful of different ones you can find online.

for pao, if the person who has daisangen, how much do the other players (who didn't deal the white dragon) pay for the tsumo?
@LightGrunty6 жыл бұрын
If a player wins a daisangen by tsumo, the player to which pao is applied has to pay the entire value of the hand, and the other two players pay nothing. If they win by ron, the player to which pao is applied has to pay for half, and the player who dealt the winning tile pays the other half.
