This is absolutely BONKERS INSANE. Its sooo tiny, I jsut don't understand how you can hold something that small and make something out of it! You have some real talent and skill, and have obviously practiced a ton over the years. I've never watched a tack video before, I clicked because I loved that horse. Your tack is beautiful 😍

This is ridiculous! How do you cut such perfectly strait lines!? The tiny buckles too! Thats amazing keep up the awesome work! Also i love ur channel so much! ☺️ Edit) im repainting one of my Schleich and im having trouble applying the pastels. They wont stick long enough for the clear coat!
@mochimacaroon4003 жыл бұрын
Try doing thinner layers of pastels on the horse with thin layers of matte or grippy sealant between them. A lot of artist use mr. SupperClear. Also, if your basecoat is high-gloss or the pastels aren't staying, cover it with a sealant that the pastels grip to. Hope this helps!

So gorgeous and realistic. And that pheasant and rifle. Wow!! Working with that tiny stuff is mind boggling for sure. I make tack too, but concentrate on English and harnesses---those are really tough, especially fine show harness. I'm still working on a set I started 6 months ago. (Jan Griffiths).

Wow amazing job with the craftsmanship, so much detail on everything that you’ve made. Idk if you’ve thought about this but if you go to a a website that sales animal models like schleich from what I know of you can find a deer or something and just reposition it’s body to lay across the back of the horse, just a little helpful tip or what not. Love the videos and keep up the great work 🙂👍🏽

You've honestly managed to reignite my ldest passion I had as a kid (not that I had any skill nor material to do anything decent back then, haha~). It's amazing to watch you create something so intricate (and positively tiny in scale) and make it seem like it's something anyone could do or give at shot at least. Just two videos and I'm hooked on miniature models, resin models in general, tack making (already plotting to order some equipment for my birthday as I type this) and even butchering some of the horse figurines to re-attach different parts here and there and make a whole new figurine out of it. I don't think I've ever seen something so inspiring in all my years of internet. And given how dreadfully boring my existence is; I very very much appreciate that. :'D Thank you for making such in depth tutorials that even an amateur can understand, I'm gonna keep myself busy watching your videos and learning the basics and tricks from you.

Western rider here! There are two types of horses when it comes to their back lengths. Short backed and long backed. When you have a short backed horse you want a short skirt (as shown with this saddle) so that the skirt doesn’t rub on their hips. When you have a long backed horse you can do either but longer skirts can be more comfortable for some long backed horses as it’s more even in weight distribution. (Also yes Ik I’m late loll)

If you ever forget the pommel again, you can wrap it with rope, or well miniature rope xD My friend had a saddle like that for her horse, an actual horse. I think it was her mother's old roping lasso, but I don't exactly remember. Or you can do a leather wrapped pommel, which is pretty much just a strip of leather wrapped around the pommel like a bandage.

Beautiful sculpt and of course, your tack is immaculate! Love it! The saddle seat is genius, I am going to try to do an epoxy seat. The only thing I am unsure of is the position of the gun under the stirrup leather, I don't think it would be comfortable for horse or rider, however I cannot think where else to put it because either way it looks to be under the rider's leg. I am having a complete blank trying to think if it can go elsewhere. Apparently it does go under the leg but looks lower down?
