Refusing to pull away from the window is rude. Sometimes foods have to be cooked fresh & a wait is necessary. There are others waiting behind you & you aren't more special than they are. Its not hard to look in your bag when they bring it & go inside or back around the drive-thru if they forget something.

I’m out on the road caring for many patients daily, going from one appointment to another, so I go through a lot of drive thrus weekly, unfortunately they always forget something when they ask me to pull over. Then I feel so bad that I have to ask them to go back inside to grab a straw or the sauce for my nuggets. So I get out and have to go inside, but that’s the reason why I went through the drive thru, avoid the time it takes to go inside! Our waiting areas here are far, most times I park and there is the employee with my bags seconds later, but they always forget something! So that 20 sec could’ve been avoided, I wouldn’t have to bother the employee to go back in, or I wouldn’t have to get out and go inside which is why I went through the drive thru in the first place. Simple!
