TOG is a completed series, while Fourth Wing is not (third book releases Jan 21, out of 5 total) in case that plays a factor for you. But both are absolutely incredible in my opinion. TOG is 8 books total, and I personally read Assassin's Blade first in the series and loved it.

Fourth Wing is good although I got a bit bored and haven't been desperate to read the next in the series, but TOG is my favourite series of all time.

I am a die hard pickle lover. Open my fridge any day, any time and I guarantee I will have at least 5 different varieties of pickles. I also, love BK. That being said, I HATE their pickles! I don’t know if the pickles are different in the US vs Canada, but they ruin the burger for me here. (Hypothetically) make it make sense? Hahaha Re: the reading slump, have you tried switching your genres of books entirely? Maybe that will spark things back up for you. I’m a big non-fiction girlie but I dabble in some fiction occasionally, as long as it’s realistic and/or based on a true story ex: Gone Girl, A Million Little Pieces (that’s a 3 part book series), The Girl on the Train, All Souls. I haven’t had a chicken teriyaki sub from Subway in literally years. I always end up getting tuna cause I’ve somehow become obsessed with it. Miss those $5 foot longs SO MUCH!!!! I did go to Toronto on this trip and got a foot long for under $9 American. Wish that was the price everywhere else!

Daisy I just finished an amazing series with the first book being called Stalking Jack the Ripper. The author is Kerri Maniscalco. It's four books long. The first is Stalking Jack the Ripper. The second is Hunting Prince Dracula. The third is Escaping Houdini and the last is Capturing the Devil. If you want to delve into something different than what you are used to I would totally give them a try. Oh and my fiance and I love watching your videos you're awesome!

Oh I hope you see this. We came down this week and on way back, we stopped in Greensboro I believe and ate at Bad Daddys Burger Bar. We loved it. I got a chicken tender kids meal and had to take more than half home. Hubby got some sort of burger and tots and we got fried pickles. But it was so good. You should try it if you havent!

I’m from California, too. Where in California do you live that it’s always sunny? Yes, we get rain sometimes, there’s a long explanation about why California doesn’t get much rain, it never has because where the state is located not because of global warming, California and Nevada and Arizona are mostly desert and close to the ocean, different atmosphere than the east coast..Nevada and Arizona get very little rain. It snows up in our mountains, haven’t you ever been up in Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, the Sequoias, Mammoth, Big Bear? It snows a lot in our mountains. Not all of California is always sunny throughout the year. In the summer it’s overcast gray clouds up and down the coast and can get very cold. I lived in southern California near the beaches for thirty years south west of L.A. county, during the summer it can get very cold and I had to wear sweaters. I enjoyed the beach during the fall and winter seasons because it it’s clear weather and warm. Our California seasons should switch to the opposite! Lol… Another place I lived was in the Central coast across the street from the beach. During the summer it would be freezing and at times I had to turn on the heater in my house and light up my fireplace! The colder it is in the coast, the hotter it is inland. Years later, I moved to the Central Valley and it gets too hot and too dry. It’s winter and about 35 degrees F right now.

@@janan1105My husband and I visited Seattle about five years ago and we loved it! I do remember it did rain off and on since it was spring. But we didn’t mind and brought out umbrellas. My husband has been to Seattle a few times so he warned me about the rain. I love my home state, California but California, Nevada and Arizona rarely get rain. We jump for joy when it rains! Yay Rain! Lol j/k! But a lot of snow up in our mountains. It was in mid May and stayed in the downtown area. Our hotel was a corner room so we had two big windows and great views. We have a couple of friends and their families living there. They coincidentally each moved there a few years apart for their careers and one of their kids went to some tech college. One lives in Kirkland and the other friends live up on a hill, sorry I forgot lol.. and we all made plans to meet and one of our friends and their families living others met in Bellevue. I loved it there! Unfortunately it was during the week so we didn’t have a lot of time with them all, so my husband and I just drove all over, walked all over. The best way to see a new place. My friends who we visited are also from California, told me they’re sick of how much it rains in Washington state. They’re both ready to leave Washington. I just want to back for a longer visit! 😊

Daisy! I feel you with the reading slump girl, it took me a really good fantasy book to get out of it. Shatter me is great, anything by V.E Schwab, the poppy war is a trilogy and that one is killer! Fourth wing I would say leans more into the romance aspect than tog, but throne of glass is fantasy with a side of romance. Both are great options! Sometimes, to break my reading slump, I need to get through a super simple romance book, and others I need to binge an entire series. That's how i finished acotar !

Hi Miss Daisy! I can totally relate to the wallet thing as I went to Walmart for my Mom and while there I used an ATM as she wanted me to get ca$h to put into a Christmas card, and set my wallet down to put the $ away and somehow left my debit card there and went the whole 2 weeks of Christmas - New Years without it so I couldn't buy anything, lol! This is great because you did the new value menu at McDs previously and now the $7 deals at these places which is awesome as I didn't know what all these deals included, and now I do! The TB is clearly the best deal, you literally save more than you spend, that isn't easy to do. For me, BK is hot garbage, but the chicken fries are fine and the bacon cheeseburger isn't bad (for BK.)
