If you touch the soil the next day and it's still wet, do not keep watering the plant. Wait until you notice it's drying up. They also start dying from overwatering :(

There a a few reasons they could be turning brown. You could be overwatering them. But the brown spots on the tomato it self is called blossom end rot and it usually means the plant isn’t getting enough nutrients. Usually calcium. I’ve had this problem in the passed, we usually fertilize with some sort of natural fertilizers (organic)

@@DaisySue dont over fertilize. It will burn it up, and kill it. Plants are sensitive, but make sure the plant bowl has 3 or 4 small holes for drainage. Dont water everyday. It only needs to be damp soil. Bless ya time, be patient...you will get it right. And when you pick green tomatoes, let in sit in dry sunlight window and it will ripen up by light ,sunlight by window within 4 or 6 days.

Tomatoes and peppers need full sun and lots of water as well as the tomato plants need to each be in a 10 gallon bucket so the roots can grow

Love the way you make your sauce! I do mine very similarly, I just make a roux with flour in my butter and garlic. And once it’s thick I add pasta water. I’m gonna have to try it the way you make it and see how I like it!

I agree completely with grading your own parmesan. Actually grading any kind of cheese is a game changer. I hope you try this on your next what you eat in a day Daisy. Cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack all taste so much better. And there are less additives in blocked cheese compared to already shredded/packaged cheese.

Here's a tip, Put a lid on your pots to speed up the time it takes to boil water...Cute little garden, the only thing I've heard is to water the plants from the separate saucer below so you don't get root rot = daily light watering makes for weak roots... You can run the honey bottle under hot water or put it in a cup of hot water and the rest of the honey will come out within a minute or two!

Tips for plants so try cutting the all bottom leaf so the plan could put all the nutrition into the fruit and u can keep to green tomatoes inside it will ripe for it self ❤ hope this help 🎉

That tomato has blossom end rot, happens with a calcium deficiency or inconsistent watering. You should toss the bad one and try fertilizing with tomato tone, let the top soil dry between watering's (but still moist an inch down)

For your plants I do have a suggestion, I know you're on city water, City water contains chlorine which dehydrate the plant. I had to learn this the hard way one time I had a fish tank and I used City water to fill it up. When I went back to the pet shop they told me if you have City Water that's why your fish died. I'm pretty sure Apartments don't have well water/ freshwater.

Does bottom have drain holes, and watering to much will kill plants you only water those plants maybe every 3 days. Water logged plants the root will rot.

You may be overwatering or need fertilizer. Also, tomatoes are nightshades, while they need sun, they grow quicker at night/in the shade. Make sure they aren't getting too much sun either. These look like delicious recipes, just be careful when using the same utensil for gluten free pasta and pasta with gluten because of cross contamination if you have a sensitivity or celiac disease
