That reads like a gross misinterpretation of the sentence. The emphasis is on "I" the Grand Priest, knowing Hermano more than the other Gohans do. Hermano himself is just an insane fanboy who hates Gohan's character development. If Hermano were a Gohan, the sentence would read better as "Out of all the Gohans in the multiverse, Hermano is the one I've known the longest".

This is a multiverse with fusion after all and dragon balls. But you are probably more right. If he was a Gohan, he sure is one of the ugliest ones I have ever seen. And I saw a Gohan that was fused with a Saibaman so I can safely say my bar was already pretty fucking high lmao. Honestly, it is more evidence of good writing imo since Toriyama for better or worse never uses fusion or transformations like that. There is literally a fucking Sonic Gohan and it is so fucking Jojo, and bizzare and I fucking love it lol. It using all the resources we know and doesn’t invent some new shit on the spot.
