It's only 2 grams lighter that my okuma witch cost 150 dollars uses the same gears and you will still get line twist using fluorocarbon

Thanks for the comment Aaron, but please know Okuma does not use the same gears as Daiwa Z45. Not at all. You do make an interesting point about the weight - we noticed in previous comment you mentioned using Okuma Obsidian which weight 120 grams more actually, not just 2 grams more..that being said it does look like a nice reel and it seems like it served you well based on your feedback.
