So hyped to see you reppin Diawa. I’ve been praising them for years. You’ve come a long way from the dirty scuffed up content in the past. I love you buddy proof is in the pudding.

Do you have the 300s with a line counter? I heard you can cast well with the 300 lc. That sounded pretty dope to me.

Big time. I have so many good reels that are great minus their power handles... if you breathe the wrong way on certain casts they just engage or half engage so annoying... this Lexa has the most awesome handle. I think they just made it super light so the problem just never happens 😃🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗👍

What’s the other options in the same catagory? I’m very happy with this one so far. Just so easy for anglers of all levels to use. A very important point that I should’ve mentioned for sure. Ive taught so many first timers and this one seems to give them the least problems in terms of “birds nests” lol
@Lurtz143014 жыл бұрын
@@TaroMurata pretty much just those 2. Would consider the older Lexa Winn 300 if I got a great deal on it too. I already have a Tranx 300 and I do really like it but wanna get a second pike and light musky rig.
@TaroMurata4 жыл бұрын
Got ya. Don’t think I’ve tried the older Lexa Winn. Best this one is mint so far. Definitely great for the lighter baits to mid sized baits. I think I’d go up to the 400 for the big big stuff though.
@Lurtz143014 жыл бұрын
@@TaroMurata yeah I agree. I rarely throw big stuff but I would also like a 400 for the biggest size savage gear burbot swimbait. It’s not easy throwing down 500$ for a combo that you will use 1-2 times a year though haha.
@Vanbrusa4 жыл бұрын
Daiwa makes great reels. I love my Tatula. BTW I noticed you're using a left handed bait caster. Are you usually left or right handed? I'm right handed in everything but reeling with my left feels so much better. No passing the rod from hand to hand after casts. And it leaves me to control the rod with my predominate hand. I have no idea why so many people use right handed bait casters. What do you think about that?
@TaroMurata4 жыл бұрын
I use both. I kinda like right handed for stuff like Crankbaits and spinnerbaits liplesss etc. But for anything with slack line fishing or with pauses I like my strong hand on the rod most times. ( I’m right handed ). I like the right handed retrieve handle side when I need to feel the blades, wobble or vibration through the handle.

It’s 💯 mint. Just east to use. I forgot to mention a key thing about the rod... the trigger position on the reel seat forces you to keep your hand and arm in perfect fishing form. And that’s a huge thing for me when I’m guiding or teaching someone... one missed bite because of poor form can cost an angler a fish of a lifetime.
