awesome video! Is there a drag clicker on the Lexa TW 400? Thanks!

Yes, has a nice loud click when adjusting the drag, but not when pulling line. Hope this helps. You should not be leaving this type of reel in a rod holder though.

Awesome video what is the size of your rod planning to by a lexa 400.

Hi! I fish mostly with Jigstar Phantom/Twisted Sista/Battle Royale. Perfect rods for these reels.
I have fished 80lb on this setup when targeting yellowtail. No issues. Casting distance will mainly be affected when loading thicker braid.

May I ask, what rods did you pair the Lexas with?
@TheDrKnots Жыл бұрын
I have numerous rods, depending on the line class and application. These range from 6kg to open class depending on competitions etc. My favourite rods to use are the Jigstar Battle Royale and Jigstar Phantom. They are very light, but strong. Perfect combo to jig all day and to do bottom fishing all day. I will place links in the reply.

Thank you for the great review. Do you think the Lexa 400 would be comfortable handling jigs to 250gram ?
@TheDrKnots2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, the limiting factor would be your rod, line and how deep you want to fish. Generally heavy jigs are for deeper water, the like I mentioned in the video, you can get about 250-300yds on this reel.

@@TheDrKnots Lovely, thank you, a 300 or 400 TW Lexa is definitely on the cards. I'm steering towards the 400 for a heavier set up for Panama.

The new Lexa TW isn't even the same reel anymore. They should of named in something else. IMO it's a far superior reel.
