Those are great reels. I bought a Revros 2500 last year after you did a review on it. I’ve bought 2 Diawa regal’s with 10 bearings since then.

you can put 8lb braid on 2000s?
@joshandhuntersadventures50468 ай бұрын
Run it all the time works great sometimes I run 10 pound braid just depends on what technique I am using and what kind of structure I am around

how much 10lb line did you put? it can handle 150meters? thanks for answering
@joshandhuntersadventures50468 ай бұрын
@@alexanderaguirre3345 on a 2000 you can probably get 100 yards of 8 pound. I would bump up to a 2500 if I was you

I like the Revos a lot for its smoothness and casting ability; however, I can not help but feel a little ripped off buying it for full MSRP. Reason being, I also have bought the PFlueger Trion ($35-40) and it’s a 7BB reel with a direct connect handle (Revos is cross hex) and overall the Trion quality feels just as good if not better. I will say, the Revos is just a hair smoother but I think that’s due to the Revos’ heavier crank arm giving it more momentum.
