Rodrigo, you all need to fix an overflow pipe at the top of the water tanks. Run the pipe to a tank you setup so if Jordan and Kaylee's tanks are full then you can capture the excess water. Your place looks so nice. You've done a great job. Get the vet to castrate Jerry.

Goats need more than grass, collect brush and branches to give them the needed nutrients they cannot get from grass/hay alone. Corn does not do it!!!

Male goats shouldn't even be eating corn or any grains for that matter. It can cause urinary calculi which is basically like kidney stones in humans and it is always fatal in goats. I mentioned this recently and he said they weren't giving it to them anymore. I hope they aren't. Corn in general is a worthless thing for goats as far as nutrition. My goats have access to grass, wooded areas, hay and grass pellets. They should also be giving them minerals with copper in it and baking soda in case the goats feel bloated. Those should be out for them at all times. I just feel like they are lacking a lot.

In the US, we do it differently. There is a big gap between the rough window frame and the window. We set the window into the rough frame and push in wood shims to position it where we want it. Then we screw through the window and shims into the rough frame to secure the window in place and break off the shims. Now, there is a big gap. We fill the gap with liquid foam. After it hardens, we cut the excess off and cover the mess with trim and voila! it is beautiful! I am impressed that you got that window framed so perfectly,

@Jordan Hendrickson . He straight up put cement siding on the metal beams as wall exterior/interior walls. Do you know how that reacts without a plywood, osb or zip board backing?? It's going to need it for long term use and physical structure of the A frame. And I know he lives in Panama. Things are different. But you just flat out don't use that material by itself. It will warp/crack. I have faith he will do it right. 🙏

Jerry is definitely old enough to get the girls pregnant. I mentioned this in another comment not long ago and he said they weren't letting him near the girls but...looks like he's going where he wants. If he's humping dogs he will most certainly breed one of the goats. That's not only a really bad idea in general but if he got his mom pregnant that would be a terrible thing.

WOW! It is amazing how much Rodrigo and his friends have come in this house build. They have done it with minimal machinery and professional contractors. He has built a house. His work ethic is exceptional.They just got started and did it. It may be weird, but I feel as proud of him and his friends as when my own sons achieve their goals.I wish someone who knows how to set up a fundraising platform would start one for Rodrigo where we could donate $$ to help him purchase the solar system, water catchment, batteries, and wind turbine for his house. I wonder if it makes sense to drill holes into half of the roof panel to relieve the pressure just a little on windy days. I mean just the last 8" or 12" along the edges. And maybe just the top 6 feet? Or maybe a gap at the peak since air might be channeled up there and pressure might be highest there. Anyways, just an idea.
