Those goats are having the time of their lives. They love climbing on things and jumping off. They are so healthy. They were having fun playing tag with Freddie. Can you please secure your ladder with stronger straps so us senior citizens do not have heart palpitations everytime you go up and down.

Fan for the loft is a must. This house is turning out to be just fabulous. Freddie, you are beautiful my dear. I am so very glad you and Rodrigo found each other. I'm telling you guys, you should definitely install a net hammock next to your bedroom loft! I promise uou won't regret it! It's super easy to install, you just have to secure the edges to the beams in the side walls and then you'll be able to extend your usable living space without blocking any of the view to the outside, plus all of the light can still pass through, and you can still see through it to the ceiling which still makes the ceilings feel high! Also, it's a super cool hangout space to relax, read a book, have a movie night by hanging a projector screen and everyone can sprawl out... You can also out lots of comfy colorful throw pillows up there to add to the cozy vibes and add a pop of color in the house. And if you really want to step it up a bit, you can build a small ledge shelf around the edges on the walls so you can have a place to put down a drink or book or even decorate with some small decor items. The other cool part about this is that it would make it feel like a treehouse with all those windows and being up so high! 😊

Fun video! Roger climbing the ladder and getting into everything and escaped goats getting into the chicken coop and the building site. You sure have your Hans full! Rodrigo, I think the loft will be just like having your treehouse, but much much nicer! I agree with other comments about adding insulation (to try to keep a bit of heat out and to muffle sound of rain on the metal roof). Also, either a good fan or small air conditioning unit in the loft. Have you considered making the loft just a bit bigger? You have lots of room to do that. Congratulations on increasing the numbers of viewers! I hope 2025 brings much success and happiness! Love you both! ❤️❤️

The loft is a great idea, however I think I would use it for storage more then a bedroom. You are already feeling the heat and it will only get worse. I will wait and see how it turns out I could be wrong. Keep the videos coming.

I was thinking the same thing. Use the loft for storage and your clothes. Then you can hang a curtain under the loft to block the light from the big windows when you are sleeping. Or you can even sort of wall in underneath the loft to have a proper bedroom with double doors. It is also safer to sleep under the loft in case you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

This is quite right with respiratory protection for galvanized material 👍 In terms of construction, I would install wooden floor directly on the 3 main beams (1"). The other carriers are a little exaggerated if only the bed goes there. It would also be good for summer if the top window above the bed could be opened. Wish you continued fun and success. You have the right idea that when it's cold that you wear gloves, some type of scarf around your neck. You lose the most body heat out of the head so cover your ears & head you will keep a lot of your warmth in & not get as cold. Im from MI USA so in the winter is gets pretty cold so we layer our clothing.

Loft is great! I have one too. Have you considered the head room once everything is done? I believe once you put your thick mattress up there, it would be difficult to fully stand up. Then comes ceiling/walls too. To save space, if it were me, that first layer of beams are already enough, I'll just put additional ones in between to make the structure stronger. As usual, glad to watch another video of yours. Keep it up!

There are such things as a “ fire blanket “ for small fires. Less mess than an extinguisher or when you are not prepared and no time to get the hose or fill a bucket .

How about an exhaust fan in the loft that blows out. Open the door on the opposite side of the second floor to let the outside air in to replace the hot air in the loft. Also, have you considered some kind of emergency ladder to allow escape from the second floor in case of fire on the first floor?

One word. Condensation. You will have to find a solution for the moisture that will run down the walls. Your breathe and also the climate down there. Here in the sierras we have a box fan heater.

You should think about some type of sound barrier insulation in your loft area. You will be in the loudest area so close to the peak when it rains. I've lived in houses with tin roofs. Plus it will help with the heat of the metal roof also. Maybe an exhaust fan would help with the heat too. You guys are doing a great job.

Good morning, I think you need to rebuild your staircase so the opening faces towards your dinning room instead of your tv area. This will give u a much bigger sitting area. If not try moving your couch & TV to face the wall so it isn’t in front of your stairs , this will give you a bigger cozier sitting area.
