Another great reaction, Dakara! Omg I totally relate to your frustration! There were so many times they could have attacked or shot the BML people but didnt! Oh, and i really enjoy when you imitate them. =P I always chuckle during those parts in the reaction. =D

You have to remember that Ketch is a psychopath, so even if he cares for Mary he's not going to react in the same way a normal person would. He probably thinks he's helping her by taking away her ability to care for other people.

The remote collar's power being switched from Crowley to Lucifer is some of the worst writing this show has ever pulled off. I mean bullshit, Crowley was too smart to do a dumb plan like this where the collar protecting him from Lucifer can somehow magically switch control. Why the hell would Crowley even have let Lucifer not go into the cage, why not just send him back in? They only did this to mess Crowley's character up to have Lucifer stick around.

I agree. I mean that "the polarity is reversing!" sounds like something out of Star Trek, not Supernatural. (And don't get me wrong, I love Star Trek, but that was just horrible writing.) And Crowley being THIS stupid? That doesn't make sense to me either. I hate what they did to his character.

Cannot wait for the next one - predict you needed tissues! I was not attached to Eileen as a character so the fact she died did not really hit me. I get why she had to die - I just really hate the placement and the way they did it. It would really have been nice to have some build up to it instead of title, she's dead. Otherwise I liked this episode.

Well, firstly, 'everything' is never fine when it comes to this show- but, optimism is nice. Secondly, I can't be the only one to imagine the lion king, "everything the light touches is your kingdom" or raising the cub and all that when Lucifer is on that...mountain? hill? it was an interesting shot. But, more importantly, Eileen's death and Sam's reaction to it- heartbreaking; he was finding happiness in a badass hunter (someone who understood the life is something, I personally, agree that the boys would vulnerably allow near them) and then for her to be killed by something she could not have fought against...that was simply unfair. More so, Sammy stopping himself from going there- feeling that pain just shows how deeply he might've felt towards their bond (yes, that hurt). Then, with Mary and Samantha's acting this episode...absolutely beautifully done, however, the fact that much like her sons- she'd actually kill herself than hurt those she loved or cared for? *sigh* Supernatural is an experience. But, this finale...yep, no one was ready for that 😀

To be perfectly honest, this is one of my least favorite episodes. I felt it was very disrespectful of the show to kill her off like that in the first few minutes of the episode. And in an episode that had so much other stuff crammed into it that by the end you barely even remember that it happened. Sam didn't even really have a chance to grieve her because of everything else going on. (And killing a deaf woman with a hellhound, something that can only be tracked by sound unless you have the special goggles was VERY low in my book.) I also don't like what they did with Crowley's arc through the second half of this whole season, with him trying to make Lucifer his slave. None of that made any sense, not from the guy who was lecturing Cas back in season 6 about underestimating the Winchesters. Crowley has long been one of the most genre-savvy characters on this show, and this whole plot arc just felt contrived to me. But the whole "the polarity is reversing!" thing was especially bad. It felt like they'd written themselves into a corner and instead of coming up with an actually clever way of getting around it, they just pulled some bullshit that sounded like it came out of Star Trek. (Don't get me wrong, I love Star Trek, but some things work better on that show than this one.) I do think we got some interesting insight into Mary in this episode, while she was still fighting the brain-washing. But overall I think they could have done most of these story points better. Anyway, I am DEFINITELY looking forward to watching your reaction to the next episode as it's one of my favorites!

I hate ketch so much for killing eileen, they killed yet another amazing character, & killed her by a freaking hell hound, an invisible monster that you can only hear not see & she's deaf so she couldn't hear it, so fucked up, it's like using her disability against her, i hated it, i also felt so bad for sam, everytime he opens up to a woman, she dies, they were so cute, just let sam be happy for once. The power shifting from crowley to lucifer for no reason is the stupidest non explanation this show has ever given us, you're not ready for this finale, can't wait, great reaction, dakara 👏😍
