Wow, I've watched every video of Dakh Daughters I can find (not sure why yt logarithm did not bring me to yours sooner) and I can't recall a front row clear video. Many of their released with pro equipment are great and do sound better than any audience take in a way on the other hand following the Grateful dead and Phish I've grown to really appreciate a live sound . That is how you hear it from front row or from the spinners in the back . My favorite shows are in old silent movie theater or some state of the art musical buildings for small capacity. The energy is not easily captured on video or mic. This video I could feel the crowds excitement, see the bands expressions crystal clear and with the exceptions of a few awkward shots and where it is not hissy nor distorted it captured the feeling more than a main board could ever. Thank you, I love oh God. Tanya always impovs the lyrics a little and the use of her singing voice vs talking or screaming. It is brilliant and showcases one of the bands many talents. In not simply preforming the same show over and over but constantly changing not just the order or the songs played but adding too and subtraction from, switching tempos , changing who's playing what instrument and the stage set up . They are the avaunt grade jam band with the entire world's music styles in their repertoires. I have been thinking about theme every day and with all my soul pray they are ok in these horrible times. Seeing a 2014 video of Tanya sitting down with a piano on the Median directly in front of the armed forces after many deaths with out fear gave me chills. She is gorgeous, talented and brave beyond description or platitudes. I will see the Dakh Daughters and Dakhabraka live. They must be protected as international treasure. One love
