Dakkon is on my to build list I have a simic landfall and a mono white voltron deck that are loosing their luster and am looking for a replacement. That and I wanted to play the phage + fractured identity combo.

I think the herald’s cumulative upkeep would have had him gain control of more than on land per upkeep. 1 then 2 then 3 etc

Really amazing fun game to watch. I enjoy the fact that your channel does not seem to ebb and flow with the tide of what's the flavor of the week commander of Uber broken commanders... For the most part..... Except when jesper is on... Lol. I noticed some watching, at 8:24 the herold of leshac's communitive upkeep trigger goes off and martin should have added an age counter to herold which in turn would have aloud him to steal two lands instead of one. Minor overlook just wanted the card to shine a little more cause of my love for it. Thank you again for the amazing videos each and every week. Always one of my favorites.

At 4:20 Max should get a 2 triggers on upkeep(These can be stacked in any way , but this is the best): Progenitor Mimic trigger which makes a Trigon Predator copy Growing Ranks Trigger which makes a progenitor mimic copy and a trigon predator copy. Didn't matter tho :D.

Actually there are two issues with your suggestion. 1) Progenitor Mimic's triggered ability specifies "if this creature isn't a token" so it doesn't get to make additional copies and 2) even if it did, using growing ranks to make another one wouldn't allow you to get that one's on upkeep ability because it didn't exist at the start of the upkeep so it wasn't there for the triggering effect.

I know it didn't make any difference in the end, but Max couldn't make that second Trygon token (4:23), because progenitor mimic says: if this creature isn't a token, make a token.

I feel like if you are stuck on lands you need to take 8 off library to clear the cards. Especially when you know a trygon predator is about to blow up the library. Not taking 8 just brainstorm locked you basically

Can't you stack the triggers on Zegana entering the battlefield at 7:32? They both trigger on ETB, so you can layer Ezuri getting the counter first then she enters with the counters?

Nah, it's "enters with" rather than an ETB trigger so they're on there AS she enters

We spent yesterday 2 hrs on a single game because some players were playing stax. It was also a 5 person pod with an avacyn , angel of hope, Edgar Markov, yurlock, and blood pod(tyma and tana) and me playing my winota joiner of forces deck. The blood pod deck had the most staxs pieces on the table that i could sort of get around and just yeah. I won because of aven mindcensor and just having the luck of drawing the sword of war and piece at the right time to kill the avacyn player

A very minor quibble about your amazing Titania decklist, Andrew: why not run one (non-snow) Forest for the sake of Field of the Dead? Also, I'm a bit of a purist and hate off-color fetches. So, for Titania, that would mean anything other that references a non-forest land type (things like Evolving Wilds and Prismatic Vista are still cool, though). Any suggestions for players who are needlessly obsessed like I am with not running things like Windswept Heath? (I feel the need to note here that I play many a Windswept Heath in other decks.)

It's been a while, but I think I asked the table if I could rewind, then cast Derevi in my main phase for WUG instead of using her ability. They were kind enough to let me do it, which meant sol ring was untapped for main phase 2

The corrected turn goes cast derevi for WUG in main phase 1, attack with Adorned Pouncer (double strike), untap 2 lands, use sol ring and those 2 lands for Soul Foundry in main phase 2

@@maximilianallen3132 It looked like you had missed Derevi's ETB untap before the combat damage. That might be what the untap the 3rd land was. Maybe then you asked to untap the sol ring instead of the plains in order to cast your 4 mana spell.

Herald has cumulative upkeep which means he steals more lands each turn, not only 1 every turn. Also I am sure at this point that only Andrew can be unlucky enough to be land starved while playing a mono green deck, a land reanimator one at that.

You're correct on the upkeep trigger. Martin did play it correctly, I just didn't narrate it properly.

Herald of Leshrac doesn't target, so you'd have to bounce all your lands to ensure none get stolen.

You only have to bounce it when it’s tapped for mana. Activated abilities don’t trigger Storm Cauldron.

You must not understand tlwhy he did this, cause the tokens will probably have different anounts of +1/+1 counters from gavonny township so what solution do you propose? It's the simplest

No no you need to put all the tokens when you place counter on them, or else it’s even harder to see. Hence I don’t play Cathar’s crusade in my decks...

No WAY he needs all of those. He's putting a counter on every creature, they're in ascending order. Put one token with a die above it indicating the # of them there are, and a die on the token indicating its power. Actually no need to have 6 tokens for your 6 2/2s and 6 tokens for your 6 3/3s. Especially not on camera.
