@AurumenK I agree with you except for the ariel counter thing. Juggles aren't dirty. It's not like grabbing online where it's IMPOSSIBLE to escape. Just block the launcher and punish as necessary. Easy. Unless of course the launcher is the EWGF, in which case, you're screwed.

Its the new bounce system, but the hell sweep in T6BR does not make the opponent bounce unless it hits them in midair or hits them on a counter.

@TheSacredEnd people don't use the lasers because when u reach a certain level people realize how to dodge them and punish you for ever using them. one missed laser can cost you a match (i use devil jin online mostly)

those are extremely hard to pull off since its takes so long and leaves you vulnerable to attack. i would love to see one of those happen in a tournament match that would be awesome!

While tekken 6 has a set number of combos (lots of them too) for each character, you must find your own combo up as well as all the existing combos and input strings available. Potential that there are many combos to be discovered but under restriction of frames and spacing from character to character. The problem is for many noobs without this knowledge, the bread and butter combos are not mentioned anywhere within the command lists of ssfiv. ssfiv combos and input strings skill >> tekken 6

why does tekken 6 take more skill than ssfiv? highly doubt that. tekken 6 have longer inputs for specific combos. there is set number of combos for each character. unlike you must find your own combos and input them correctly during the precise frame. It takes me 2-5 minutes to get comfortable inputting a combo in tekken 6. in ssfiv, it can take many days and weeks worth of practice for that one combo (depends how dedicated you are). mainly because the frame data has strong effect.

@GreatDestroyer90 Every character is equipped with ways to get around things. tekken have sidestep and stuff, ssfiv has focus attack (which is ironically not easy to FADC without practice). I believe you are talking about Daigo. He is such a beast in this game.

the reason that have the bounce system is because to balance the characters and tiers out and it is pretty balance cause alot of characters are now high tier and mid tier now

EWGF=Electric Wind God Fist. It's that lightning-charged uppercut that Kaz and D. Jin keep doing. One of the best launchers in Tekken (If not THE best.)

Well... Jin's moves are based by traditional style karate, while the Devil Jin's is based by Mishima style karate, specialized by the Mishima family...

in the summer or fall but it is not the regular tekken 6 it's the patch which is called tekken 6 br yup and stuff that worked in tekken 6 orginal won't work in tekken 6 br for example devil hell sweep is a counter move jin's hope kick lauch a counter move and also it's more likely that nina and zafina will be top tier cause they buffed them yup and alot of characters got nerfed

in fighting games, especially ssfiv online play, there are different playstyles. the more playstyles you are exposed to and counter, the more flexible of player you become. In ssfiv, ur opponent can use a variety of playstyles according to the character, therefore, in order to reach the goal of victory, you must find a way to bypass the playstyle. So take that, if ur opp. constantly "spams" fireball, its UR JOB to find out to get around it and win.

Well it might be a little harder with the analog yeah but I don't think there will be too much difference. Well whatever, I'm still damn happy they're porting it and I'm getting it 100%. Hard to control or not, the game will rock. :) And ugh, no more FPS! Plenty of that shit already... It's very good that they're porting this. The fighting genre is really lacking games lately, and well most genres are except FPS. There's like a new FPS every day and they all look the same. Boring.

i only played DR online on my friends PS3 for an hour or so and it ran fine for me. i know it wasnt my imagination but i played SC4 on ps3 and 360 back to back, and ps3 online was less laggy to me. i wonder why the same game (SC4) performed so differently at the same time, and place/ network.

the reason devil jin is so powerful is because he has more bound moves then any other character in the game i am sure devil jin has 5 and most of his moves in juggles are bound the good thing about kazuya is all of his juggle setups are bound. In tekken 6 basicly if you are not using any one in the house of mashima including lee,bob or nina then don't play cause most of tekken 6 player are probably gonna use those characters but mostly devil jin and bob.
