Very impressive fighter, tall wiry frame for her division like Max Holloway, combined with a bunch of nasty Muay Thai techniques like Anderson Silva. A fight with Shevchenko would be very interesting, I think Shevchenko in her prime could keep her at bay and would fight her like she fought Amanda Nunes. Current Shevchenko would have serious trouble with the reach, would have to rely on the ground game.

Dakota better stop turning her back like with Mauldin for example around 1:08:14. Moments like that can cause losses vs good BJJ opponents. Moments count. Love seeing her fight and like how she climbs her way to her opponent all while looking for those holes to let loose. Haven't seen that in a long time. Dakota is really fun to watch. She is a promising fighter, but of these matches 2 were of comparable age to her, the rest of the cards were 8, 9, and 12 years older than her. She did show moxie on the 2 but the rest were all older with a reach disadvantage. We will see what she can do against comparable opponents.

😂 That’s hardly fair mate. Holm took a hell of a beating in this one and lasted longer against Dakota then all but one person. She’s a tough broad. Just couldn’t get Dakota down to take control of the fight.

@@bengalbrown2834 the entire minute before she went down she was getting brutalized. The leg kicks ruined her. Her form just degraded, couldn't engage her core properly and her counterpunches were just flailing. The body shot (that straight left) which dropped her didn't look like much, but obviously it was. I'm no expert in women's MMA but never seen a women drop the competition with so many body shots.

@@S0ulinth3machin3 Yea she was completely broken in that third round. I’m just saying most of the ladies Dakotas faced went down to way less… I’ve noticed the same thing.. Chicks seem to go down to body shots at a much higher percentage than men. They can take headshots pretty good but you rip a good body shots at in there and they buckle.. Maybe that’s just Dakota though.. I haven’t watched much WMMA in since the Rousy days.

If there is a difference between men and women with regards to bodyshots, we gotta remember all the extra plumbing they have. We have testicles, but groin shots are banned. Their reproductive organs aren't protected by the rules. OTOH, from what I've seen, Ditcheva hits the solar plexus and the lower ribs, don't think there's much reproductive organs there. She's going for the liver. She's like those orcas eating great whites, they go for the liver.

Also Dakota Dichiva just destroyed Talia Santos who arguably beat valentina Schevchenko. Dakota finished her brutally. No one in the ufc has done that to Santos and Santos is in her prime. Also PFL/Bellator has better competition for Kayla now.
